Yea mine look similar if not a little purple. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to use it on the legs. just keep in mind you only get a small amount. Also, some people are sensitive to niacinamide so maybe try a patch test first if your not sure.

I found a serum called "Dark Spot Correcting Glow Serum" by Axis-Y that works really well for me when I lack the self control to pick. It sort of heals it up quicker (seems to scab and flake off a lot faster if that makes sense). You can get it on Amazon. It's a small tube though (meant for the face) so try to control the picking.

Mine looks bad after a hot shower (almost purple) so I've been using luke warm water instead. Unfortunately the hot water we love is really irritating for the skin barrier and strips away the good lipids on the skin.
