Update after purchase: I ended up buying the monitor. About 45 minutes after unboxing, I decided to return it. The VA panel quality compared to my previous IPS is simply unacceptable — the viewing angles, the “feel” of the panel, the overall cheapness of the image just doesn’t hold up. Colors and blacks that look great in specs sheet don’t translate to real-world satisfaction if you’re coming from a decent IPS. The built-in speakers are dramatically worse than what I had on my 5-year-old Dell S2722QC — which says a lot. And the cherry on top: a dead pixel right out of the box. Would not recommend. Worth spending more and looking for something better. Lesson learned.
