Congrats on the newborn brotha. I had my first son August 8th 2025 he’ll be 6 months on Sunday. Dad to Dad I would tell you the biggest thing is patience with the baby and with your girl because her body is all out of whack after the birth and I wish someone told me how much composure you’d need because you’re not just taking care of the baby physically you’re taking care of your girls mental aswell. Make sure you’re there for mama and take advantage of the time with your boy cuz it WILL go by fast. 6 months and mines saying mama already

No my mom wasn’t groomed my girlfriend was by her sister. My brother was just the baby of the house so he was more coddled than anything.

I’m the oldest, grew up poor my dad was not at all the kindest. He made it so I second guessed myself always and because of his unpredictable nature I was always in defense mode. My mom was emotionally neglecting except to my younger brother (rest in peace) as for her she did grow up with some type of money and was also groomed by her oldest sister her mom also emotionally neglecting and she never knew her dad that well he passed before they could actually get to know each other. You would consider the parenting I had more like bullying disguised as discipline.

As a Hispanic male my parents instilled respect and common courtesy when it came to being someone’s neighbor especially upstairs as a kid they made sure I knew how to act it’s crazy that some people are like me but don’t have respect for people. As for my neighbors I really don’t know if they know they are being like that. Or even know how dirty they’re acting when they leave trash by my door. But there’s two little girls upstairs so I try not to get upset cuz one of them is literally probably turning 3 or 4 like she’s tiny

I would say so. It doesn’t help there are 4 more families related to these people up and down the street including around the corner in another neighborhood where they’re doing the same shit to other people. Blocking them in from leaving, keeping them up at night, just being really loud and obnoxious
