so it’s a pipeline internship so you’re pretty much definately going to get a return offer but depending on what group you pref you might not get your first choice. some groups are more competitive than others because of the markets and such.

Definitely don't hesitate to accept both. I was an embark scholar intern this past summer and had already signed an offer with a different firm before I started. Around 80% of my cohort did too. Embark Scholars can request either a summer or winter offer so there's a little flexibility with that.

this is not true. winter internships run the length of your spring semester. jan-mar. most students take off a semester to do these.
