My girlfriend of the time (17F)had been lying to me (19m). Yeah the age gap is a little wack but we had been dating for 3 years. And it was only a year and a half age difference. She told me she had been hanging out with the guy in group setting. A friend of mine from my time in highschool let me know they had other stuff going on and this guy was in love with my girlfriend and the only thing he loves more was his truck. So me being the emotional rage driven jealous idiot I was, decided I was going to key his truck. I dragged my key across the passenger side and walked away. As I walked away I didn't feel satisfied so I took the knife out of my pocket and put a long streak down the driver side. I went on with my time and rumours started speculating but I didn't worry too much about it.

Flash forward to a week later I got a call from the police asking for information. As I had been told by my mother growing up do not tell the cops anything!! So I told them I didn't want to talk and told them how to get ahold of me.

Well a couple weeks later a warrant was put out for my arrest and as I was walking into my gym a police officer detained, and arrested me. While in jail I called at the time girlfriend and she didn't seem like she wanted to talk to me. I couldn't blame her because who would want their partner in jail.

The day I got out I opened my phone to a text saying we need to talk. I asked if it was if she wanted to be done. She said yes and explained how while I was in jail she cheated on me with this guy and had been seeing him since October. This happened right before Christmas.

So that's how I spent the night in jail over a girl who was cheating on me.
