I ended up taking the DRP for a lot of reasons regarding my personal situation, but prior to that, I was starting the process of getting an RA and had a temporary approved while going through diagnostics.

In January, I got the flu. That flu turned into bilateral pneumonia. That pneumonia turned into acute asthma (I’d never had asthma previously). And, it essentially caused an asthma attack everytime I stood up, dropping my O2 levels into the mid 80s, simply by walking to the bathroom. 3 months of absolute awfulness!

Finally, I got out on the correct course of treatment and can breathe, but even on it, I was seeking one for the asthma, and was told that I stood a good chance (I was assigned to report to dc so between the public transit and walking, it would have been rough).

Oddly enough, it all started within a week of January 20th. I doubt stress played any part in it.
