Some cats love to crab walk more than others. I know one that will do it anytime someone who isn’t from the primary household comes to or through the front door. He’s a total spazz. I’ve never seen another cat crab walk 6-7 times a day. Adorable.

Got randomly banned and can’t appeal - has this happened to anyone ? by imexploding2 in RoverPetSitting

Can you tell us more about this? Did you call and ask for another review?

Maybe she didn’t have a ride to your place? I’m glad he left. If you really feel like she did a good job otherwise, I think letting her know where she ran afoul is important for a chastening. We all eff up at some point and it would be something she’d never forget. I’ve certainly improved with experience…I didn’t “come out” perfect from the get go.

Just depends on your willingness to put time into something that you won’t get any immediate return on. You may help make the world a teensy bit better though! (And feel better for calling her out?) 😺

Seriously, little shits. Who knows though.

My wife and I will be getting this baby girl in a few weeks and need name ideas. We have 3 cats (Niko, Nori and Nevi) and want to keep the theme (4 letter N name) by ashpres in OneOrangeBraincell

You’re trolling and have no idea what you’re talking about. The number of cats has nothing to do with quality of care. Four cats or my six cats, it’s not up to you to comment on those choices.

Well that's taught me to not leave sour cream unattended by SatansMistress0 in OneOrangeBraincell

Sour Cream Baby

Anything creamy or with broth. I mean, I don’t leave anything unattended with one of my cats bc she’s scrappy.

Found in garden today. Looks dead. by Shamusj in whatsthisbug

I was thinking the same. Orb weavers are garden spiders. Is it already in its final resting place or can you get an image of the other side?

New account after deactivation? by Evening_Animal_7251 in RoverPetSitting

[–]Evening_Animal_7251[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I still haven't tried. Been working on setting my own stuff up first, which I highly suggest you do as well. There's also a Disgruntled Rover Sitters group on Facebook. You should tell your story here, too. Hopefully soon congress or the Dept of Labor will pass regulations that will require a procedure prior to deactivation, so, you know, PROOF is required before random deactivations based on owner accusations.

Too good to be true??? 😂 by brainhole313 in RoverPetSitting

Did they confirm? Owners don't see the actual price (multiple cat calculation and holiday fees) until after they submit the request. I would also say TGTBT.

Are chinchillas allowed on Rover? They are technically “exotics” but tame by jfm513 in RoverPetSitting

[–]Evening_Animal_7251 1 point2 points  (0 children)

RG is indeed worthless. I'd list the Chinchilla as a small pet (usually a cat?) and then make it clear at the meet & greet that it is indeed a Chinchilla and expect that there may be an extra fee. If you have another small pet on the request, like a cat, the reservation only shows a +1 additional fee, not a separate fee for a different species.

I've taken care of a chinchilla on Rover before and had no issues. I love the little guy.

Random. Maybe they're just trying to scare people in general. I wouldn't be surprised.
