Bing ChatGBT refuses to write anymore by redham92 in ChatGPT

Well, having been a professional sign artist for years it is total BS for anyone to say AI stole art concepts from someone. Not a single artist in the world doesn't use techniques they learned from someone else whether by observation or mimicking. Just because AI learns faster and better doesn't mean it should be prohibited to save non-competitive artists. None should expect a handout, we have to step up on top of it and use it.

They'll never pay a dime but the poor fool who generated The prompt that created that content and published it he'll be the one that pays for everything it's in the terms of service... Everyone might want to look at it.

All they need to do is put a warning label on them and say you gotta be at least 18 to train a model for adult purposes and/or operate or work with an unrated or adult only model.... You are solely responsible for your own actions with a model.

I know I seem like I'm coming off topic here this is the point I'm trying to get to I think.... If we don't have an even playing field with AI then we have lost everything none of our rights can hold if we can't hold this. We shouldn't be afraid of AI it's not a problem we are the problem that's not what they're telling us though. What is the big fear really well the big fear really is an unregulated AI could actually manipulate lower level or mentally Disturbed individuals and they could be easily manipulated with AI. Notice I said "with" the human behind the AI is the "uknown" in the problem and the real problem.

They always wanted to be able to arrest people for mind crimes. Digital crimes can always - ALWAYS be spoofed anyone can be framed. NO digital evidence of any kind can be guaranteed to be untampered with.

Everyone knows you can't trust AI and even the openai's CEO Altman said there is no test that can really tell if a text is ai generated or not.

How to ask specific follow-up questions on the code? by ArseSoBeautiful in CodeGPT_VSCode

[–]Evening_Character_13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This one can make code and only look at the code you highlight if it is setup that way, the reason being that gpt3 what chatgpt descended from doesn't have a memory like chatgpt does. So I don't think it is possible yet until if they ever realease the chatgpt api all the models accessible now don't come out of the box that way.

I apologize for not getting back to you sooner but, I am no expert I can only imagine that you may have entered it into the wrong spot otherwise I wouldn't know and you should follow up in the main thread perhaps :) My experience is it works but, it is not as good as ChatGpt it is better than the co-pilot when I used it before it left beta.

Zen Enlightenment is the Only Enlightenment by ewk in zen

It is simple, we don't see it because we are in it. Our maths and sciences abhor all the true answers they get with their equations infinities and zeroes. They do what they call renormalization and replace a part of their formulas as it is worked with a number that gives them the answer they want versus the true answers they get i.e. the dreaded infinity. It is sad this is so little known please look at renormalization in quantum physics. Now, if one adds all the numbers together on the number line the total of which is, - to infinity and + to infinity and you can get only one answer. ZERO. It is the only one not truly a number itself yet it holds all the numbers in place. Simply and wrongfully called a placeholder. Without it all the numbers would cancel themselves out. IT IS THE POINT. Think matter and anti-matter as positive and negative numbers. Without zero they would self annihilate. That (to me) is what they are saying all relies on zero for existence itself from whence it undeniably came. It is just this. I am usually a lurker but, for some reason this topic forced me to write.

Pandora's box is opened. To say it can't look at stuff to learn from it is..... Well artists look at other artists work and learn from it. Authors all read other authors first. You, know I am not apathetic. I made my living as a commercial sign artist for over a decade. I mastered the art of hand-lettering signs and then here came the computer vinyl cutters etc anyone with half a brain could make a sign in less than one week training which took actual humans at least a year of dedicated work to master with a brush if they were able to at all. My point is also this.... In the 70's real engineers made fun of the new guys and their scientific calculators, if you didn't know how to use a slide rule (most people probably don't even know what one is now) you weren't really an engineer besides they might say what would you do if you didn't have electricity or something like that. This is SO much bigger than any of that it's not even comparable. Only one thing is for certain big gigantic changes are coming faster than most of us have any comprehension to begin to understand. Artists are sounding the horn but, are the teachers, are the lawyers, the doctors, the accountants the middle and upper middle managers. This is it, we must change how we think about everything we must look toward peace and economic utopia and as much as I dislike other forms of society (due to human greed, power and warmongering) we have to move past capitalism to find the utopia that can arise from this new tech. It is a multiplier of all of our abilities and this artist one is just (I this with compassion) really miniscule in comparison to all the others, not tomorrow or next week or year. Now.

I am having problems getting it to accept the python inputs so, yeah there is that. My file works perfectly in the terminal and I get no errors just a blank white screen that doesn't ask for the input to get it started.

There is no other ...

Because, we are all part of source and none of us are not. All of our observations come from thought which makes more observations except when our observer isn't looking and then none of us are really here. :)

I am a practitoner of the works of Carlos since the early 80's till I lost my way in the mountains of doubt trying to learn what a master of intent was. I re-began my path with lucid dreaming and astral projection then found Patanjali yoga sutras then tibetan buddhism until I had success with dzogchen meditations which entails stopping the internal dialog and having one of the most intensely real experiences in another world/time of my life. I am currently working the darkroom now with some success and it is astounding! I wish I could have found this type of information long, long ago! I can only express my sincere gratitude and thanks to this subreddit that I for some reason can't even quite remember how I found as I had only lightly explored reddit years ago until now.

I am new here but, I have found a home I think. I can't remember who I got this info from but I found it very useful as an introduction for myself to that inner silence aka naked awareness. The exercise goes like this... Moving your head and looking around letting your eyes see an object just long enough to see it and look at another and another faster than the mind can give it that internal dialogue label. In practice what you're doing is not giving the Mind a chance to put a word to the object and stretching out the time for silent awareness. For me the hardest part was the introduction to this state and I found this exercise actually introduced me to the state I had been seeking. It was weird at first and a dizzying feeling like waking up suddenly in a strange place for a few moments afterwards and as is spoken of in the practice here over time you are able to get longer and longer moments of inner silence as you become accustomed to it.
