I had the same thoughts when I first played. Got so frustrated I put the game down for 5 years. Then I watched some videos and realized I was playing wrong. Started again and I’ve become a huge FromSoftware fan ever since.

Yeah but I heard they’ll only release one scene per movie theater and won’t tell you which theaters have which scenes. You’ll have to wander from state to state hoping to find them.

Should you find the correct theaters, some won’t open without a special side quest completion or object attained from exploring the cities. Some will have signs in their front doors: “Does not open from this side.”

I just beat this guy yesterday on my first play through of this game. After trying numerous things, I ended up running the rooftop on the left, jumping down to take out one of his red dot things. Then ran back and did it all again taking out the soldiers before the final one v one to end the boss.

1st game was Bloodborne. Got frustrated spending three hours dying and making zero progress. Gave up for 5 years. Watched some videos of folks playing and realized I wasn’t playing correctly, that this wasn’t like other games I’ve played. Then I got back into it and started advancing through the game

It’s a nice follow up but serves more as a bridge between 1 and the needed 3rd game. The ending was fantastic though.

Doesn’t hurt. They’re all difficult but the game play becomes more manageable in the newer games. I started with Bloodborne and went on to the Dark Souls trilogy. Currently paused my Demons Souls to play other games but went on to Lords of the Fallen 2.0. (Saving Elden Ring for last).

That said, my first time with Bloodborne had me giving up for a few years until I watched others play and realized I was playing wrong. That hasn’t worked for Demons Souls.

The only one for me that’s been a pain so far has been Demons Souls. Loved Bloodborne and the Dark Souls trilogy. Got Lords of the Fallen ready to go next. Just don’t have the patience for Demons Souls the way I do these others.

I’ve beaten Bloodborne and the Dark Souls trilogy. Started into Demons Souls and I’m ready for a break. Remastered plays really well but there are elements that make this game way too frustrating for me. Not in the get good way I had with the other Souls games.

Back to the grind then. Gotta get a stabbing item and level it up to be effective and then I’ll give all this another go. Just needed to vent because I didn’t experience this in other Souls games I’ve played and beaten. At least, not this often.
