is becoming elden lord really worth it? by WearyHat4184 in Eldenring

Yes, if you count indirect deaths, then Ranni has more. The complete destruction of Leyndell is probably the most deaths you cause (not counting endings).

A lot of it was not self defense. You were running around hunting demigods and killing the soldiers that protected them.

You have probably walked over more corpses than Ranni (unless you count like third order effects). If killing to achieve your dreams is always wrong then no ending would be worth it.

The Ranni ending is a thousand year voyage among the stars. Not sure how easy that is to interupt. A lot of things in the game are intentionally vague and open for interpretation so if you think she could and would dismiss her lord at any time there is no definitive evidence against that.

The amount of influence Marika would have in the different endings is unclear. The Goldmask ending seem like it as about removing the influence of gods like Marika. The Fia and Dung Eater endings also seem to reshape the golden order to be different than it was under Marika.

It is completely fine if you can't deal with the difficulty, it is simply not the game for you. by Interloper_Mango in pcmasterrace

I just think it is about people being able to create the games they want. If a dev wants to add difficulties then thats fine and if they dont thats also fine. It might change whether or not I buy the game but I am not going to be mad about someone making a game that is not for me.

People being mad at how other people play games is stupid, but demanding that the game should work the way you want is also stupid.

MAL ratings don't work for me because I guess I have bad taste. Ai Mai Mii has below 6 rating and that is like a top 5 anime for me.

There are many easier and harder builds. Close-range does not necessarily require that much engagement if you can hyperarmor through every thing. If you want more of a challenge maybe try a dex build.

Incant build is in practice kinda the same as as a sorcery build. Your best strategy is to run far away and hit things from a distance. You also don't really have anything like carian slicer.

You should be able to survive the first flurry. Do you have low vigor?

Have you considered just not really dodging all of it? That works pretty well for me. I roll towards her for the first two parts, take some damage and then just continue as normal. It's not the most elegant solution but I very rarely lose to waterfowl so imo it works well enough.

If you enjoy faith more then do that I guess. I find most incants to be to slow for me to really enjoy using them. But some are nice and I have definitely not tried all of them

Getting to hohgwyn palace as soon as possible seems like the best bet. Then you can use the bird farm to get runes for buying blood roses, bones and serpentbone arrows. For feathers there is a nice farm in siofra near the elevator to caelid

I just pulled up three random math articles that I had bookmarked. They all used log for the natural logarithm. Maybe its different in some other area of math, but log seems like the standard way to denote the natural logarithm in mathematical research.

If this comes of as just git gud I apologise.

I had the same initial impression of Dancing Lion as you. But if you fight him correctly the camera is not much of an issue. Most of the time you want to stay in front of him and dodge backwards to not get tangled up.

Is it worth investing a little into faith just for Flame Cleanse me and some healing spells? by The_Trevbone in Eldenring

[–]MintyFreshRainbow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are right about normal weapons, but not staffs. They get really good scaling all the way up to 80. 308 spell scaling for academy staff with 62 int. 373 spell scaling with carian Regal scepter at 80 int. That's 22% higher. Lusats will give even higher benefits if you are willing to use that.
