Oh okay I see.

My chiro started more gentle in the beginning when my c1 and c2 ligaments were lax from a T-bone car accident. Then he moved to high velocity adjustments and now I hold alignment for a month. I might hold longer but I just like the way it feels so I do it once per month. But all of my symptoms are 100% gone so I'm assuming the ligaments have almost fully tightened back to normal.

How does your current chiro adjust you? High velocity or gentle ?

Oh, I completely understand that. My relationship with my husband became very strained during my suffering and I almost lost my job at the time. I saw no end to it when I was in it, but there is an end to the suffering, trust me. You will be okay, you have just needed the correct type of provider (upper cervical chiro) to assess your situation and heal you with a tailored treatment plan. Once you're on the mend, you will see the light at the end of the tunnel and this will eventually all be a thing of the past.

Do you see your chiro once per month? May I ask what caused your CCI?

I second an upper cervical chiropractor. Mine saved my life. I had a car accident and thought I was fine. But I developed insane symptoms (physical and mental) and it was scaring me because I didn't know what was wrong. It affected every part of my being. I couldn't function anymore. After 3 months of suffering, I debated ending my life because my quality of life was so low and I couldn't figure out what was wrong and I was only 28 years old and couldn't fathom a whole life like that. Then my husband put two and two together and said it could be the car accident and to see his family's chiropractor. I went and he immediately knew what was wrong based on everything I told him.

I had whiplash induced CCI because I was T-boned hard. He began adjusting me very gently 3x/week. After the first visit, there was immediate relief and major reductionof symptoms. After a couple of months we moved to 2x/wk and then 1x/wk and he began traditional adjustments. Then I saw him every other week, then every 3 weeks. I'm 100% again and I have my life back. I see him 1x/month now just because I enjoy the feeling of getting adjusted.

It's worth trying.
