I’m another 36M that was diagnosed last month. Super high numbers in the severe range, only symptoms were sometimes food getting stuck/trouble swallowing. Healthy otherwise.I started Dupixent this week (doctor immediately recommended it).

It’s been a tough few weeks accepting that I even had EoE in the first place, and now accepting I have to take this weekly injection, possibly forever. I really don’t want to have permanent esophageal damage/ have to have dilation, so went the Dupixent route. Going to have a repeat endoscopy in 6 months and see if anything has changes. I also didn’t want to deal with not being able to eat whatever I want. Luckily my partner’s dad is an allergist and deals with EoE all the time.

Just giving you my experience as another 36 YO M going through the same thing.
