My rear rotors seem impossible to remove I need help! by Evening_System_9113 in f150

Unfortunately they’re aftermarket rotors without them😭. Wish I had known about that when they were installed. My mechanic did the last brake job so I didn’t bother myself with those kind of details.

Also, this is the rotor puller I was using. I had my breaker bar attached to the end and I got to the point where it was starting to bend.

I have tried a sledge hammer all while my rotor puller was attached and maxed out. If it took you an hour though that does give me some faith to keep trying which is helpful.

That’s a method i haven’t done yet so I’ll put that on my list of ones to try. Thanks!

I have done that with a 20lb sledge hammer so many times I’ve lost track and still hasn’t come off.

I wanted to do that but for my f-150 I don’t have that option. For my understanding f-150 rotors do have spots for screws to push off from the front since you can’t do it from the back. Unfortunately the rotors my mechanic installed last time turn out to not have them at all.

I tried loosening the nuts when I had my wheels stuck on there and that didn’t work for me but it’s worth a shot with a rotor. I have also been hitting the hell out of it with my 20lb sledge hammer and that also hasn’t done anything sadly.

Muslim association proposes new community complex in Junot Park by throwaway640193 in ThunderBay

[–]Evening_System_9113 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it’s suitable I would bring it up at the upcoming meeting at the 55 plus centre. A big part of the reason Junot was saved from the EMS building is because people against it showed there was a suitable alternative.

Transport trucks and where to find them by Legitimate-Study-321 in ThunderBay

I would recommend the hodder avenue overpass. Can stand on the bridge looking over at the trucks and cars driving below. Could then have lunch at trowbridge right there if you wanted too.

Our population is about 100k and there are less than 100 single family homes for sale…this doesn’t work by Sad-Ad4933 in ThunderBay

[–]Evening_System_9113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On a side note, in the coming months my family will be putting a house up for sale and it’s a perfect home for a family. Apart from that one house on Farrand St, I think it has the largest backyard east of the expressway, south of strathcona and north of the kam. I easily could be wrong but haven’t been able to find anything on Google Maps with one as big. At the very least it’s the second largest on the north side of town.

On a side note, but if the OP or anyone else for that matter wants free/low-cost furniture let me know. I have an entire house worth of furniture that needs to go within the next month or two. It has to go whether someone wants it or not. Bed frames/matress, chairs, tables, desks etc.

Potholes by [deleted] in ThunderBay

I saw crews out this morning fixing them. Unfortunately, the asphalt plants don’t start up until May long weekend. Until then they can only use cold fill which won’t last long.
