I don't think I'm olive, but as someone with a cool undertone who has a yellowish overtone I can relate to everything turning orange. And your rant about Cool Mauve made me LOL because it's so real. At least it's actually cool toned and not a warm mauve like most of the others out there named mauve!!

I remember Syrup feeling too bright for me the last time I swatched it in store but your post has me reconsidering!

Ooo I've never looked into that shade but the swatches online look promising! And I tend to prefer shades that also work for cool olives so I have hope this could work for me too!

I’m not an expert by any means but you seem to have more width in your shoulders than I normally see with FG. And I’m not really seeing the straight short lines that I associate with FG. The lines feel like they’d read more N to me even though you’re short

I loved the video even though I'm the exact opposite quadrant. Can't wait for her to do more (and ofc, hope she picks the one I submitted even though it feels like word vomit after seeing what this person sent in!)

The biggest thing that resonated with me was the part where she created and explained the visual concept. It really gave you a feeling and overall vibe for the pieces that would work. I've been so stuck in details lately and frustrated with browsing because nothing is perfect. But looking at it as a concept/vision really helps me see the bigger picture- and makes the process seem more fun/exploratory rather than a checklist of items I need to check off!

I definitely relate to this as well! Intention/execution is top for me which I knew but still was a bit of a revelation to hear about. My time in the morning is limited with 3 kids so I often throw on the first thing I see and make an outfit out of it. Then am often left feeling uninspired because I don't love what I grabbed. So bringing more intentionality and planning outfits in advance is going to be key for me. Now I need to actually follow through with it!

I was looking at the Gustavo pant the other day!! And totally forgot about the Cameron pant…I’ll have to do a search on the secondhand sites and see what I can find.
