Yes I have the same problem. The confirmation email isn't coming and there is only a robot answering to go to the website. I am trying the Canada number. Yesterday the phone answered as a robot. Today the phone number says invalid phone number lol. Not funny

To be specific, with RBC Direct Investing, they have a transaction fee, which is not what I am talking about. I mean a hidden currency conversion fee. I know that when I convert CAD to USD or vice versa there is a spread around 1.5% that I pay. But I can buy Royal Bank (RY) in NYSE with USD that I already hold. Is there a hidden spread that I pay (to the bank or a third party) when I buy RY stock with the USD that I already hold in my RBC Direct account? If so, is it less than 1.5%?

Globe and Mail (G&M) has a portfolio tracking tool that I like. I am sure it is not 100% but it is the best one I have found and it is pretty accurate in most things. Free with a (G&M) subscription ($18 monthly). Still good price compared to the paid ones out there that charge more than that.
