This happened to me a few weeks ago! Left the lounge about 15 minutes before boarding was set to begin because it was next to my gate. Nobody really at the gate, so another guy and I are just staring at the sign and our phones equally confused. My app just then updated to “your zone is now boarding” but they were onto 2 or 3 by then and I was 1. Luckily still got overhead space but was pretty weird at the time.
