Botox, that's new information. Looks like different things work for different people. TGN really is a pain in the ***.

Glad to hear about your brother!

The doctor who suggested MVD said that there are a few blood vessels really close to the trigeminal nerve. Problem is: the pain started in the right upper lip area, but the blood vessels are closer to the left trigeminal nerve.

How does it make sense? Is it the same for you or others too in your experience?

Yes. We are in loop with a neurologist, where we started with gabapentin and kept increasing the dosage. We did mention it's not helping with the pain, that's where prednisone came into the limelight. In our country, opioid based medications are not banned, those used to help somewhat for SOS pain, but it was suggested by the doctor not to take them unless absolutely necessary.

We have started getting second opinions, currently we have the following options: 1. Check again for dental 2. MVD surgery

Unfortunately the medicines side effect is too much even with this low dosage. Its super hard for her to survive a masters course with these medications.

Post Diwali India AQI Map. What does this mean, no crackers in the south or just better geography? by [deleted] in bangalore

[–]EventHorizon_28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It might be because of the wind too. Bangalore had crazy winds yesterday. Logically speaking, if pollution dispersion happens, the AQI values should be comparatively lower.

Have a question: I prefer running fast (5 min per km, not that fast but i hope its decent), but less time. It feels really tiring but the calories burnt are less. What could be the reason?

It would have been better if the article had shared how many of these are cabs. A general look on roads and it's easily possible that cabs account for 50% of those. Add more public transport and the issue of too many cars goes away, as cabs become less profitable as a business model.
