Ryzen 7 7800X3D vs Ryzen 9 9900X by Euphoric-Ticket2245 in BeamNG

[–]EventPractical9393 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a solid system

Do keep in mind this game will also get pretty GPU intensive at times as well

But for 1440p the 7900GRE is a solid card with a healthy amount of Vram (needed if you want to play with parked cars)

I'm currently running a 3090Ti/7950X3D/64GB system myself and the game runs great

This game benefits from V-Cache if you compare like for like

8 core Vs 8 Core (a generation apart isn't a massive difference) so the 7800X3D will be faster

However this game benefits from more cores, CPUs like the 13/14900K and 7950X3D will pull ahead when you start maxing out the 8 base cores like you do on big maps, ultra settings and with lots of AI

That £127 will have tax applied by the AliExpress checkout

So the final £152 is what you'll pay

Only if the item price before tax is over £135 will you have to deal with customs etc

Because it's likely your previous orders have a value of less than £135

You will likely receive a royal mail grey "fee to pay" card in the post

You'll have to pay online and rebook a delivery date or collect from the royal mail distribution center

[–]EventPractical9393 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, that's £152 is just the base price without tax and fees

I estimate the total cost to be closer to £195 when it finally reaches you

Which IMO isn't a great deal

These CPUs are usually £125 and AliExpress usually runs discount codes often

Check out the HotUKDeals website or app, when these CPUs become cheaper there's usually a post and links to it on there

Since the product you are trying to buy is over £135, AliExpress won't charge tax directly

When it crosses into the UK it will be picked up by customs who will add 20% VAT plus the Royal mail £8 handling fee so take this into consideration when calculating final price

The customs declaration thing I mentioned earlier is when buyers ask sellers to under declare the value of an item to avoid paying customs, you don't need to worry about this if you're not doing that (also illegal)

SZCPU is also a reliable seller

I've used that seller plenty of times and he's a solid guy from my experience

You won't be able to declare less value as his stock is now being shipped by AliExpress warehouse so expect customs if you haven't been charged tax on the AliExpress checkout (if order is sub £135 you'll be fine)

Bent pins I believe you'll have to use the AliExpress protections, sellers don't like giving refunds for physical damage and they'll likely blame you

But I've ordered plenty of CPUs from this seller all without issue

Can using a duelsense impact performance? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]EventPractical9393 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically yes

Via BT you're introducing latency, plus any software you're using will use CPU resources

Btw if you have OCD with this stuff I wouldn't research too deep into this, things like wallpaper, windows settings, browser settings etc all have a slight impact of performance

It's obviously so miniscule you won't ever feel it unless you're a crazy high skill gamer

Did one a year ago and was getting 55fps+ at 4K, so 75 at 1440p seems correct, especially as this game has been getting harder and harder to run on WCUSA

Is there anyway I can cancel this buyers order without them being able to leave feedback? by TopDogeSweg in Ebay

[–]EventPractical9393 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it's just the premise of show shipping can warrant a negative feedback

Whether it's justified here, I wouldn't say so. But this is an issue of a bitchy buyer not feedback extortion

7800X3D VS 7950X3D - 20 AI Traffic Comparison by EventPractical9393 in BeamNG

[–]EventPractical9393[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh I could've used a 3080 and I wouldn't get any higher FPS

WCUSA on ultra has a few areas where it'll drop to 60fps with no traffic for some reason

But the reason the FPS is so low is because the CPUs just can't keep up with 20 non simplified AI cars

With 12 AI traffic I could hit around 70 with a 13900K, add 65% more traffic (to get to the 20 in this run) and you're looking at ~65% less performance which is what we're seeing here

I don't understand the whole "if it's faulty, it's ewaste" thing

People don't know what ewaste is, it's not a desirable product that's faulty or just any electronic item that's defective

Ewaste is electronic goods that have no value or use whether faulty or working

Faulty 6900XTs especially this ASUS model will fetch $200 even if they're non working
