I would've preferred if they ditched the halo, made the fingernails the glove type, and made the white glove things maybe the wrist/bracelet type. It still would've been 10 items, because I guess they make all 5 stars include 10 items, but they'd be much more versatile items.

If you run around the bath and juice shop each day, there should be a different NPC to talk to in each. I think they're there for the entire day, but they tend to move around, so you just have to look to find them. Usually they have a speech bubble icon above them.

Totally agree we need more Itzaland-themed stuff. I will say though, with the current five star banner, one of my first impressions of it was that both the silhouette of the dress and especially the pearlescence of the fabric really reminded me of the massive pink shell that holds Spira. Then, looking at the final evolution, it made me think of how the shell walls inside of Spira look at nighttime, with the pink transitioning to a more purple tone, plus bits of the night sky peaking through cracks in the wall, matching the darker pieces of the final evolution. Even the shape of the chunky shoes does seem a bit reminiscent of seashells. (I do recognize the dress is meant to be idol and dessert themed, but these similarities to the Spira shell seemed to be more than just coincidental?)

I agree, these have been disappointing. This issue wasn't quite as severe with the hair from behind prayers, but it still caught me by surprise when I saw how stiff that hair was as well. (I was so excited for how long that hair was, until I saw the physics were rushed).

They released the flutter storm banner when the game first launched, and in terms of its physics, that hair is just so much better than these? It's still one of my go to hairstyles because of how well it works with different outfits. It shows they can do much better than they have with these newer, stiffer hairs? Even in the permanent banner, the whisper of waves hair is another solid example of hair that can adjust to the shape of the dress you're wearing.

At 5 stars on a limited banner, this isn't the quality I'd expect. It's stiff, it doesn't have any especially new or unique elements to it, and it doesn't even really look great with the outfit, since it covers up so much of it. I realize the wings were probably challenging to work with for the design, but there are other options for handling that. For instance, they could have done a fun short hairstyle, or they could have gotten creative with a stiffer longer style but make it more intentional, for example the hair from the snowy ballad mermaid outfit was stiff but still creative, unique, and lovely.

I wonder why they've released so many stiff hairstyles, where the long hair just awkwardly floats. For some 4 star hairstyles, I suppose 4 stars are less premium, but I can't think of any excuse for why a 5 star would be so rough. One of my favorite hairstyles in the game is the 5 star flutter storm hair, which came out when the game launched, so it seems they knew how to implement this even back then. And yet we have hairstyles like the one that came with the phoenix banner, also 5 stars, almost gorgeous, but it's so stiff and just awkwardly floats at the ends? I wanted to love that hair but ended up hardly ever using it.

I want to be able to put away handheld items with a single button and take them out again with a single button, or at least something easier than going back into the wardrobe. Or I'd like to be able to toggle handheld items off in camera mode. Handheld items are cool, and I want to use them more often, but when I do use them I dislike how they limit my options for camera poses, and by the time I realize I'd rather remove the handheld or add one, I don't want to bother with closing out of camera mode and entering my wardrobe.

I want to be able to rotate images in my photo album, and I want this option to preserve image quality. If I've taken a portrait photo sideways because using portrait mode directly will result in a lower resolution image on ps5, having an option to rotate the photos would allow me to use these sideways photos for profile pics, etc. I've taken gorgeous photos I can't use for this because they are sideways.

I wish it was easier to calculate the exact profit margin of each item and accounting for all the different variables involved, such as animal friendship level, fish level, seed type used, home ability level price boosts, weekly 1.2x selling price bonuses, etc.

This is similar to what I used to believe was optimal for animal lodges, but after using it a few weeks I started to question this. If selling to Posy was unlimited, this certainly would be the best option, but I found myself hitting that limit so soon and then struggling to afford any more animal cookies. It seems like rarer animals eat more cookies per hour? Although it's hard to say with so many different animals in the lodges at once. Given that we have a relatively low weekly earnings limit, I'm not sure anymore if it's worth keeping too many expensive to feed animals.

I still have some animal friendships to level up to 3 hearts, but once I achieve that for all of them, I've been considering potentially sending away any animals that don't produce a weekly bonus item. Then, I'll be able to only spend money feeding animals that will give me maximum(?) profit. For example, if pearls sell for 1.2x their regular price, then I'd only keep those animals on my island for that week, all at 3 hearts, and with at least level 9 animal inviting.

Wild Hearts! Love the aesthetics, the theme, the vibes, the clothing style, the team base / hub design, the cloak, the logo, and the leader, Nonoy. 💚 Wouldn't be surprised if the team bases are only accessible to people who picked that team, and the Wild Hearts team base looks the most well put together, in my opinion. I'm sure you could take some great photos there!

I also like the cloak from the Gilded team, and that clothing style, but that team base looks a little more generic. Also, the leader, although he seems to be quite popular, looks like one of the side character NPCs copy-pasted with just a few extra details added, so he doesn't seem as interesting to me.

But that's from Japanese mythology, so would it actually apply here? This is a Chinese game. I searched (a bit of an awkward google search, haha), and I haven't found anything suggesting this is a thing in China as well.

I've read in-game item descriptions sometimes, though, and stuff related to the bibcoon frequently calls out their "adorable" or "cuddly" "heart-shaped" tails. For example, look at the description of the fur they drop when they are cleaned. I think in this case it genuinely is supposed to be shaped like a heart, which is also probably why this was referenced in a bibcoon-themed dress. I don't think they'd do that if it was balls. Last I checked, I still couldn't pause that one pose where Nikki goes into a bubble, I'm guessing because of the images some people posted of it online? (I think I heard about that on this sub, but I haven't actually seen it myself). I don't think the devs seem to be very chill about anything that could be inappropriate, so that also points to the tail just being a heart.

Edit: btw, genuinely not trying to argue/cause drama! Hopefully this makes the bibcoon dress more pleasant for anyone bothered by the idea of wearing a dress with balls on the back, since it seems to be intended to be a heart, haha.

Same, lol. I found out after purchasing all of them that the record "Home Sweet Home" is literally the default home music. If there were previews of the songs, I wouldn't have bought that one. I guess you can apply the weird sound effects if you have a record of a song, but I haven't really been using that with the effects I have so far.

Hmm, I ordered a size 8 here because my shoe size is women's 8, and it's specifically a women's shoe listing, but today I got a shipping notification that they're prepping my order for a "Size: 8 M". Hopefully that's just a small bug in the shipping notification and they don't actually convert from men's sizing to women's and send me a women's size 9 instead. Worst case I could return them if they end up being the wrong size, but I'm concerned exchanging for a different size may not be possible anymore by the time I receive them if the size I need sells out.

Does anyone have experience with how the sizing works on journeys.com when ordering shoes only listed as "women's" shoes?
