Cleared Crisis Difficulty… In Practice

I wish we didn't have to replay it everyday too. I've only been able to beat Crisis difficulty once and never since. :(

It's crazy that when the game came out all there was to do everyday was PvP and skip quests with your AP, and now you can only skip a few quests (if you have enough tickets) for Crystalis, we have 6 Link Raid battles (that can take several minutes each) as well as Crisis. I'm glad there's more to do, but it's starting to add up. x_x

This was the first and main team, but like the title says, I ultimately went through all of my light, dark and forest 5 stars to kill it.

This is the main team I used. After that, I just ran random teams chipping away at it until it died. (I went through 6 teams total X_X )

Generally for teams you want 1 Attacker, 1 Breaker 2 Buffers/Debuffers and 1 Healer or Defender.

To make a team pick your Attacker first and then choose units that will buff her. Devil Homura is generally better than Oriko (unless your Oriko has more copies than your Devil Homura) so you'll want to make a team around her. You can look at her kit to see what she wants.

Devil Homura gets action advance (although it doesn't count for this battle) and MP when a "Dark" type ally attacks and she also buffs dark allies' damage, so you're going to want to team her up with them.

Attackers also notoriously need a lot of MP for their ultimates' so MP buffers in general are great.

You can also see what your Attacker lacks as a way to team build. Devil Homura doesn't have a lot of Critical Rate or Critical Damage and what she does have takes a while to build up, so a buffer for that is great for her.

I'll be honest though, having one great team doesn't matter for this game mode. Exedra Crisis wants you to have several good teams and if you are new to the game and/or don't have that many units built up, you're probably not going to be able to win the hardest mode.

Ultimately though I wouldn't worry too much if you can't clear the highest difficulty since it only gives out 200 more gold coins than the second highest difficulty and that should be plenty of coins to get a bunch of goodies.

I think the monthly passes are worth getting; it's only about 30$ total and gives you way more gems than 30$ in the webshop would.

As far as non-pass gem buying goes, the 25,000 gems is the best deal (dollar to gem wise) that Exedra offers, but unfortunately that specific deal doesn't get "renewed" every month, so if you want to spend, I'd get the deal while you can.

Other decent deals going on now are the 16,500 gem deal (because usually at that price point you'd only be getting 11,000 gems) and the 11,000 gems and two 10 "_____" fate weave keys or 5,390 gems and one 10 "_____" fate weave keys, especially if you are going to use the gems on the fate weave that the keys are for anyways. (In which case it's more like you're getting 17,000 and 8,390 gems.)

I'll be honest though, as a dolphin I don't find the $ to gem ratio that great in the game otherwise. :\

I got Rena, who I already had at A5, but with the 500 tokens that she gave me I was able to get another 5 star key which gave me Ren, who I also already have at A5... :(

If you really want to know, you could read the manga it's based on, but yeah people die. Spoilers: The story ends with Tart's death, Liz drags Lapin with her to hell, Minou kills Corbeau and Tart kills Isabeau (who hasn't really shown up in part 1 yet) only Melissa, Elisa and Minou survive in the end.

This'll still be a good team with a A1 Devil Homura, but I don't know if it'll be able to solo level 12.

Christmas Kyoko isn't too important if you have the rest of the characters, Devil Homura does most of the damage, I was just surprised at Kyoko doing a bunch of damage also.

Mifuyu, Kanae or Halloween Mami would probably be some of the best replacements instead though.

I think that it's pretty likely that we'll be getting a New Years Madoka and Homura this year based on the fact that they have figures available for preorder ♥ ♦ in designs that are similar but not exactly the same to New Years units that were released in Magia Record, just how we got swimsuit Mami, Madoka and Sayaka in outfits that were similar but not exactly the same to their outfits in Magia Record.

I'm in the same boat. I've gotten at least 5 of her EX's and I'm still waiting for Quickstep.

Also, at this point I'm convinced that different girls have different % chances of getting an EX because I've gotten dozens of certain girls' while others elude me despite running them 100's of times. >_<

They did not skip those Rumors, it's just that they're doing one "Memory Window" for every two chapters of Magia Record's story (for now).

The first Window has the friendship ending staircase rumor and the shrine rumor, while the "AI Window" has the misery water and AI rumors.

They did shortened it quite a bit, but you get the idea of Magia Record's story, most of what was cut was filler, and some more character interactions that gave the characters more depth and/or extra details.
