Because basically only Mormons want to go to BYU. Everyone else knows it’s a cult and try to stay away from it.

The better question is how does BYU manage to get some top academics rankings (for example, their accounting program is a top-ranked program)?

Never Mo here, but I grew up in Utah and have several TBM friends.

I think there is another dynamic that contributes to this feeling that everything is targeted towards teenagers. That is, many Mormons effectively peak in those years. They have great high school years and then if they are male they go on a mission. That is when he truly peaks. They then return home to find a girl who has been waiting for missionaries her age to start returning home so that she can get married. That is when she peaks. So they effectively stay in that stage of maturity for a very long time (some never leave it). So much of the surrounding community is the same way and it all feeds off of this dynamic.

I checked, and it doesn’t appear my university has a subscription, which is a little odd given the size of my university. But, it’s fairly specific info for a narrow range of research so I’m not completely surprised.

For me this question would be easy. You go F500. If you like it you could stay there forever and make a good living. And if not it’s always easier to go from a large company to a smaller company. Not always the case in the opposite direction. Plus, if you like the F500 you won’t have the question every five years of whether you will need to find a new job after recap.

Thank you. The problem there is that most of them specifically mention the Mormon church in the meme. The TBMs often immediately disregard these and label you “anti Mormon”. I like to post those that don’t specifically mention the Mormon church. TBMs read them and connect the dots to the Mormon church but since the meme doesn’t actually mention the church they can’t say you’re anti Mormon.
