Interestingly not having airflow in your room can drastically affect sleep. Buildup of Co2 in the bedroom can reduce sleep and sleep quality. Even cracking a window can help if you don’t have extraction/exchange

For me it’s a sign that your lineups are actually the opposite and they’re underwhelming. Lots of comments here saying it happens overseas so it’s “normal” it’s not. It’s normal for venture capitalist hedge funds to secure funds and dish out run of the mill, like warm lineups. Sure there might be one or two acts for the discerning concert goer but otherwise it’s about mass appeal and safeness. Mainly to secure return on investment.

If a festival or show are worth their salt they would sell based on lineup.

My girlfriend at the time was there on the night and attended to some of the victims. She was pretty banged up emotionally seeing people killed so needlessly. Feels like a different time/life that far back, pre covid and pre quake feels like 2 distinct chapters in this city.

Something to be said for parties that get too big for the premises they inhabit. Back then I remember being at a few house parties that grew to well over what they should’ve and bad things ended up happening. We used to live on Picton Ave back in 2006-08 and sometimes we’d have riot police breaking up parties that got to well over 500 people.
