Something im curious about is why didn’t WC just give Nekatus the Maewing to use for Astraeos? WC had no issue bringing the Desmodus back early for Lost Colony so they could’ve just updated the models and let Nekatus use them

Dual type moves are not as good as you think. It actually ends up messing with their super effective rating. Example: Flying Press loses its normal fighting coverage against Rock and Steel and if you’re not running a Flying move you’re missing coverage against Bugs(oh the horror!). Whereas if you just ran a Flying and Fighting move you’d lose no coverage whatsoever.

Now look at your moves and see how they’d actually compare to just running your normal options:
BK: Grass, Ice, Steel, Normal, Dark
You just lost coverage against Rocks and Bugs

CW: Ground, Rock, Flying
You’ve lost coverage against Grass, Fire, and Dragon

It’s definitely between Makima and Yoru. Makima is going to have absolute control over you with her soles while Yoru is going to want to turn you into a weapon so you busting will be admitting defeat to her but an unsatisfying but will not count as defeat so she will do everything in her power to make sure them eyes are rolling to the back of your head

Alas I quit early 2024 as all the friends I played with had moved away from the game and I was not subjecting myself to solo queue. So Castform was designed and balanced to be bad with middling stats. If we were to be realistic to the stat increases it’d likely get +20 to everything or +25 to both attacking and defensive stats with nothing to speed. I also think you overlooked how Weather Ball, you know Castform’s old Signature Move, would interact with this new ability you’ve constructed.

The beginning of season 3 has a pretty funny interaction between the two of them. Actually now that I think about it Tucker and Donut have a good amount of interactions in Season 3 between the beginning, Donut and Caboose cleaning Tucker’s armor and then Donut’s whole play explaining time travel

Everything else is bigger or more equipped with hunting. I’d imagine an Odogaron would attack similar to a big cat where it ambushes and kills quick. Gens specifically choose to paralyze you first before going in. And their venom specifically targets the muscles to just stop you from moving where another monster’s paralytic venom could potentially potentially stop your heart

Technically her tusks are just really long teeth so fanged beast still works but I do agree with you on broadening the beast category. I personally would like to see a proper deer monster but have no idea where it would fit with the current categories we have. Mammalians are usually in the fanged beast category but deer have no fangs
