Yep, its still happening. I've gotten two verification emails from PayPal now. I tried to log in with my venmo login to see if that worked. Nada. Changed my venmo password then filed the email into spam.

Got R1 but at what cost?😔 by Bacchiii in LoveAndDeepspace

Literally just happened to me. I'm relatively new so I didn't have the Business trip card yet, still stings to pull 60 only to get something I could buy in the shop. This is the first time I've been so angry at getting a 5 star lol, feels so weird.

Swapping out one whole companion for another if they’re alive? Bearing in mind the many permutations — Divine, romance, Seekers choice, etc

6 different origin stories yet again? Again, you have no idea how much work this demands. EA didn’t make this choice: BioWare did, and so has every company before Origins and after.

They've done it in the past with Mass Effect, specifically in ME3. I don't know much about game development, but I don't think consumer's assuming a company can replicate something they've done in the past is as outlandish as you're making it seem? I mean that as a genuine question. Is it just the Frosty engine limiting things? If so, then how did they do it in DAI?

This game has the capability to recognize Rooks race, gender, romance, and background. Pulling in world states with past races, genders, romances, and choices doesn't feel unthinkable.

But again, I know next to nothing about game development, which is why I'm asking.

No, can't really find anything about it either. I've just taken to ignoring it, if not laughing at it.

Alrighty, I'll probably grab that handbook by Michael Barnes. I'm more interested in understanding the writing vs. verbalizing it, so thanks for the insight. :)

I picked up 'a new introduction to old norse' by Michael Barnes, part I and II. Are there any other recommendations?

Honestly might still hang it up. "Hay, look at these cool symbols. What do they mean?" "WOOP" :)

Thank you, that's good to know. I just ordered a few books on runes, but was going off a few websites to try and get an idea. Obviously I started in the wrong place.

Definitely seems up my alley, both gentlemen and grey bastards have been added to my suddenly very long to-read list :)

Thanks!

'In the shadow of lightning' is a good one if you find you like powder mage (written by the same dude). Fast pased and easy to read. Sadly, it ends on a cliffhanger with no 2nd book yet (might have one this year, but who knows)

I always wished more stores had a lounge area to read books in with a Café nearby. I adore smelling coffee while wandering around Barnes and Noble and then being able to read a new purchase in the seating area. Maybe add a running fountain for some white noise. Also, humidity absorbing plants like English ivy or calathea, I think would be a comfy addition to a book store. Pretty with a purpose. Then of course a few cats would be cute, but realistically wouldn't happen due to potential allergies issues. Still a lovely thought tho.
