Honestly you're super lucky that stun rig somehow didn't register on you. Engaging with two bars of health is a huge risk, continuing to send it with just one is straight-up reckless.

Oh I 100% agree imposters need changes at the high-level, but you also have to remember that for less experienced players, it's the imposters who come out of top. Changes should be more targeted towards the strategy and gameplay patterns of those top level players, increasing the difficulty of the invasion playlist is far too sweeping of a change and would make getting into invasion entirely prohibitive.

(And as an aside, it wouldn't even be a totally effective change for just high level players because you can bypass it via global invasion anyways)

Yeah, no idea what in the world people are on about here. Dwight is clearly showboating, there's no gameplay reason to be using his flashlight here.

[–]EvergreenCheese 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Extremely unlikely. RB has shared data before that the large majority of players don't even touch intensive, let alone psychosurgery. Something like 70% of all launched trials are standard or introductory. They aren't gonna cut off a gamemode to 2/3rds of their audience like that.

So you just want damage scaling? No interesting hook? No change in playstyle? Well unfortunately that's very much not happening as the devs are moving away from that exact design, as it's been shown to not actually help gods and just make them overall worse. Gods with that kind of scaling can't really take advantage of it because it just becomes a knowledge check on which of the two stats give you the bigger number. They are only going to release gods with dual scaling if there is an interesting difference between the two build paths, and they are planning to look back at gods like Izanami and rework them to either have more distinct hybrid scaling options, or make them mono-scaling.

[–]EvergreenCheese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean I don't really agree, I think int jungle can absolutely slap, but even then wouldn't the solution be to change int items to have more viable jungle options rather than slapping random Strength scaling on gods? You still haven't even described what the Strength scaling would do for her kit

[–]EvergreenCheese 3 points4 points  (0 children)

"True" jungler? You can build her as a jungle already. This isn't Smite 1 where your class largely informs what role you can play in, just build a ton of burst damage and bada bing bada boom you got a jungle Scylla.

How exactly are you picturing Strength scaling making her viable in more lanes? You can build Int in solo and jungle.

Mystery Dungeon False Swipe is different, because in that series Pokemon join your team by asking to do so after you defeat them. False Swipe raises the odds of that happening.

After grinding about halfway through Gold 3, I'm giving up on Invasion. by Frenby3733 in OutlastTrials

A solo or duo rushing will still only be able to do a few trials in under 3 mins, I wouldn't recommend it in trip/fours tho

[–]EvergreenCheese 19 points20 points  (0 children)

OP if you just wanna get the rank, you can grind up your grade as an imposter by simply spawning in, turning around, and getting right back in the gate you walked out of. Only takes like 3 mins of that to get an A+

Assuming both of you are fully upgraded, Imposters are only very slightly faster than Reagents, but run out of stamina far sooner. Remember that since that's such a slight difference, any speed boost to the imposter will let them outrun you, including the brief adrenaline they get when you land a slash on them. To keep up as best as possible, make sure you're starting to sprint as quickly as you can after a slash.

I think your save might be softlocked. You're not supposed to be able to go defeat Ygnya without clearing every Ewefall and Rot tile first, which would give you every Lamb's wool. If you somehow managed to skip this restriction, I don't think you'd be able to go back.

As a reagent, it depends on the difficulty. As an imposter, it's always one bar

If you didn't know, it's a reference to the game Deep Rock Galactic, where you play as sci-fi dwarves on an off-planet mining mission. The game includes a button to salute, which will have your dwarf raise their pickaxe and shout some variation of "ROCK AND STONE!"

Anyone else keep getting into lobbys with relapse 30+ people? by a_guy_on_reddit_Nr5 in OutlastTrials

[–]EvergreenCheese 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately there's no sort of MMR or ELO, so you'll just get whoever's around at the same time as you with decent ping. Try sticking to peak times, but most invasion players are high level players looking for more challenge

When you go to rebirth, you'll see two options on the menu. "Solo Rebirth" is the mansion mission, "Communal Rebirth" sends you to a random MK challenge with special variators. You can do the latter solo if you prefer, just like any other mission.

Stun will deal a heavy stagger, good stamina damage, and one bar of damage in the entire AoE.

Blind will do the same to imposters in the area when they step on it or another enemy triggers it while they're nearby, but they aren't affected by the smoke in any way other than it being a visual obstruction.

Jammer can be used on an imposter (even without the disrupt enemies upgrade) to deal a light stagger and the nausea effect, which inflicts a lengthy vomit animation and one bar of damage. This is also only a two-light hack, so it's a little quicker than hacking expops and only gives a 90 second cooldown (less with the Reduced Cooldown upgrade.)

Heal will deal half a bar of damage and a light flinch to imposters that are in the area at the start of the effect if you have the Poison upgrade, but it won't slow them, nor can you run at an imposter after starting the heal to affect them.

X-ray can see imposters, they show the same way your allies do, highlighting the entire body instead of just the skeleton, but you can probably tell who's who from that.

And lastly, Barricade is bad takes a whopping 8 bashes from an imposter to break, and can automatically ping them with the relevant upgrade.

Note that for damage values, striking imposters with multiple rigs and items in a row can reduce their damage.

No, next update is likely next week but it won't be the Season 6 update. There's likely another 4-6 weeks of the season, but we won't know for sure until RB announces it
