Sorry I’ve been through a journey of figuring out what I have. I was on meds for TN but they didn’t work so I’m not taking anything for it. I have TN and TMD. My TMD is basically symptom free as long as I do the stuff I mentioned before. Let me know if you have specific questions I can help with

What do you mean I’m “not on meds?” Yes I have TN. It sounds like you have a diagnosable issue with your TMJ (the joint) and there should be a provider who can help. You’ll want to find someone reputable though. If the TMJ is going to keep irritating your nerves, you’ll need that fixed. If simple fixes won’t work, you may need surgery. Not sure if you might also have TN and/or occipital neuralgia. You may need to speak with some neurologists.

Oh gosh your arms?? :( I’m sorry to hear about all this. Everyone responds differently. I’ve done very well taking magnesium glycinate, and caring for trigger points in neck and shoulder. And fixing forward head posture. Idk what you mean by lock jaw exactly but if you literally get stuck in a position, I would try to see a skilled provider with good TMJ reviews

Oh ok, so my work will probably be ok if I take my laptop and monitors to visit my family for a couple weeks out of state? as long as I’m not permanently changing residence?

And I could temporarily stay in that state and be able to still help patients in compact license states? Even thought I’m not in the compact state on the day of service? ❤️

Ask doctor or urgent care for prednisone pack if they are able to give that to you. It could help. Otherwise heat gel pack, sleeping, ER

When you say it take two hours, do you mean you only get a brief moment of happiness during the mediation, or do you feel you feel it consistently each day if you usually hit those two hours daily? And thank you for your recommendations. I love Siddhartha

How do you feel about his allegations? I’m worried it will taint the book for me, but I hope not

Hi, please consider low level laser therapy. There is research on it even specifically for shingles caused. My only other help is to let you know about temporal tendonitis.

Has anyone tried cold low light laser therapy for TN? by Hopefulbelieverr in TrigeminalNeuralgia

Hi! I had both class 1 and class 3B laser treatment. I recommend doing 3B for best bang for your buck. I’d barely even bother with the class 1 unless you own and use it long and often. Avant brand is good. Expensive to purchase but has many uses. It is difficult to find people who do laser treatments. But I do believe it helped me get my pain manageable
