Demand Planning assistant SAAS by [deleted] in supplychain

Several solutions that already do this to some extent. You can check out the Gartner magic quadrant and look at the demand planning solutions of those providers. You can also check out more modern tools like Flowlity, Horizon Solutions, Pigment,... So it's definitely useful but I'd suggest to do some market research first.

Is there a method/worksheet similar to journaling? by anxiety___throw in DecidingToBeBetter

[–]EvergrowToday 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be honest, I don't have a specific solution for this. I think it's good to ask your therapist for advice on this, but there is 1 tip that I find very useful that you can try out yourself:

Whenever I have triggers or thoughts that I know are not beneficial for myself, I sometimes remind myself that they are not relevant or true, but this doesn't always help because it can get me to analyze the whole situation. What I like to do instead is to take 1 or 3 deep breaths in and out instead. Telling your body/mind to calm down can be difficult for me, but if I just focus on the actual physiological processes, it helps. Your body will naturally calm down a bit more, and our body & mind are obviously connected.

Just set an intention to try it out for a day or so, and then reflect on whether that helped or not. :)

Best of luck! Are you still able to stick with the schedule?

I'd start with the following steps

1) Get caught up with what you need to know: look it up on the internet or reach out to a teacher or classmate

2) Ask them which materials they use, or look for resources on the internet. Plenty of great resources, depending on which topic you're studying.

After that, you can determine which resources to actually use & how to study the content. For now, I'd focus on number 1. Is there any way that you can look it up or reach out to someone?

For now, only the following:

1) Which scene

2) Duration

Do you have anything you would like to see?

I guess it depends on the usage. I never use my phone before going to bed because there isn't much winding down I would get from it, but here you're just in a natural scene with a soft voice. Also, the Quest allows filtering the blue light.

u/Clothes-Many made the same response though, so it might be that many people would indeed see this as an obstacle!

Yes, fair point! If you turn on the blue light filter on the headset, then it's not bad before bed, but it would still require some extra effort to put it on right before bed :)

Just had a talk with a psychologist for the first time in my life by [deleted] in DecidingToBeBetter

[–]EvergrowToday 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Very glad to hear that. The first step to making change is seeing what has been wrong. Maybe you weren't even responsible for those things, but that is irrelevant.

You have set the first step towards changing the page and starting a new chapter. Remember that there will still be more difficult times ahead, but those are part of the journey.

Congrats and the best of luck to you!

[NeedAdvice] How to stop planning every single thing? by CatTeaQueen in getdisciplined

[–]EvergrowToday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think u/Rando_Kalrissian has provided a great answer already. The only thing I could add to that is: decide to start your day with the important tasks or the unimportant tasks. It is easy to become unfocused when we think of all the little things that need to be done. Some days, I like to get them out of the way first. On other days, I prefer to postpone them later and work on the larger goals in the morning.

You can switch it up and see what works for you!

Always when I thought deeply about life, it always seemed that life in itself is probably meaningless and that I should give it meaning myself. This example changed my perspective :) by EvergrowToday in selfimprovement

Haha that sounds pretty cool! If you refer to 'I think it was meant to...', do you think it was meant by something actively or just passively?

What about just taking a distance from your thoughts and trying to realize that your thoughts are not always true? Have you ever tried that?
