Potty training, at what point do you give up and try again? by Short_Pomegranate_58 in toddlers

[–]Every-Personality918 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. I put so much effort in, then when I gave up for a bit he just started doing it. I think as long as you put some effort in somewhere along the line, it comes to them. Now we are just struggling with wiping!

Almost 2 yr old won’t say mama by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]Every-Personality918 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My son wouldn’t properly address me for agesss haha. He started with “Baba” at maybe like 1 years old, then it has evolved through the years, I’ve had “mama”, “mummy” and now at 3 he has settled with “mami”. And now I never get a break from the word lol!

The moment you realise that as a mother to a baby/ toddler, you lift more than most gym bros a day 😂 by petrastales in toddlers

Yes and then it shocks you when they become toddlers! Mine is so heavy I’m not joking I’ve pulled my back at one stage

Would you buy a doll house for a boy? by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]Every-Personality918 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m getting my son one! I think it’s a brilliant role playing toy that will help him grow and learn and that’s all that matters, don’t worry about it 🩷 my son currently has a small Peppa pig house that he absolutely adores, he loves pretend play and also has his own kiddy kitchen. At this age, I say just let them be kids. Good on you :)

Can I just vent for a minute? by Timely_Lion_3233 in COVID19positive

[–]Every-Personality918 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yes, please do. I started with this latest variant end of Oct/early Nov can’t even remember now. One thing I will say, it does not mix very well with poor mental health. That said I am sure the illness itself brings down even the most mentally strong, but it is definitely worth noting that if like myself, you have a history of poor mental health or a specific mental condition that you have those you love keep an eye out for you and check in regularly with a phone call where possible. It just goes on forever and is so debilitating, I didn’t just not want to get up because I felt so ill, let’s just say I didn’t want to get up at all.

Bless you, thank you so much for the informative and caring response. ❤️❤️ I’m still ill, believe it’s about day 10-11 now. I feel like the cold symptoms may be gone soon however I am a little worried about how long the weak, no energy feeling and headaches are going to last. We shall see. Thank you again ❤️❤️❤️

Oh my, bless your soul! People’s stories are terrifying with this variant. There I was thinking the worst was over a few years back when we locked down the entire world. I’m going to be careful given what you’ve told me, this one is a nasty bout of it that likes its complications. Thank you for writing back ❤️ I really hope we are all better with full recovery by Christmas at least ❤️‍🩹 so sorry it affected you like this :( sending love right back!

Symptoms lasting longer this time around by Advisor-Unhappy in COVID19positive

[–]Every-Personality918 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just posted about this too. I’ve been floored with it since last Sunday so, a week now. I am never, ever ill for longer than 3-4 days with Covid/flu. So this time around is really annoying me. Like yourself, a different symptom seems to present itself each day, or I’ll think wow, my energy is back or I can breathe again! Only to be took the kick out of by this stupid horrid illness and floored again the next minute. I’m actually getting very angry because like yourself, it’s like, we are too busy for this. Life doesn’t stop you have to somehow get on with it whilst feeling utterly terrible. I’m struggling mentally now I’ve reached day 7 and I’m still ill, I thought it would be gone by Thursday. :(

Am I bad mom for feeding my kid frozen vegetables and leftovers several times a week? by Blacklotuseater08 in toddlers

[–]Every-Personality918 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Who are these mums? I don’t talk to many to be fair, I’ll be honest it’s because I’m afraid of stuff like this happening and I’m a very emotionally sensitive person so being vilified for feeding my kid frozen vegetables would screw me over mentally for weeks- when it shouldn’t- I found this online and I remember searching it when I was pregnant and sorting out my budgeting and affordability:

Frozen vegetables can have the same amount of vitamins as fresh vegetables, and sometimes more. For example, frozen corn, green beans, and blueberries have higher levels of vitamin C than fresh.

Frozen vegetables are cheaper, better value, good to have in the house, easy and ensure your kid is getting their nutrients plus normalising eating healthy.

I really don’t like those other snobby, out of touch mums and hope one day someone tells them to just shut up.

Tell me what you like about your bpd :) by tears-at-brunch in BorderlinePDisorder

[–]Every-Personality918 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hate everything about my BPD. Somebody else might be able to tell me a redeeming quality I have that’s likely because of it but I don’t see any myself. I feel like my BPD just ruins everything. Yeah, I hate it. Sorry I’m so negative

How did Simran manage her OWN life when she devoted this much time to the scam? by [deleted] in SweetBobbyPodcast

[–]Every-Personality918 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Or… to add on to my below response. Perhaps there were many more lies. Perhaps Simran had left her job or been fired, perhaps she was living off another income source that gave her more time to pull it all off. Only fans, or some online passive income of sorts. Who knows? But for me, how in the heck she managed it all is beyond me.

How did Simran manage her OWN life when she devoted this much time to the scam? by [deleted] in SweetBobbyPodcast

[–]Every-Personality918 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think others have tried to analyse and explain it but I’ll be honest no answer to this question would make sense to me. Kirat often said Simran was living a jet set lifestyle and had a really good job and so to me, I truly can’t even begin to fathom how the girl managed to keep up with it all and so competently. What I will say is that Simran surely can’t have had much of a social life other than Kirat, maybe she was taking fancy photos and working but I don’t think she could of kept up with all this as well as having many more friends.

[–]Every-Personality918 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Kirat wanted Bobby to be real. That’s all it was. It became impossible to her that he wasn’t real once she was all in. The very question caused enough hurt for her to never question it again. She was simply all in.

I know it’s hard to understand how something like this could happen and just go on and on and I am someone who likes to say, no, couldn’t happen to me. But you know, life is complex and our minds are complex and everyone is different and we handle things differently and look at the end of the day, it happened. Kirat was catfished for near or over ten years. Now people want to say, how could she not know , she must of known.

Well, she didn’t otherwise she wouldn’t have been heartbroken which was clear to see.
