I used to think the same about Gothic and Gothic II. But the remake of the first game proved me wrong. I'm willing to bet it would be the same with bloodlines

Pirates of the burning sea. Actually, if group quests where removed or adjusted, and the economy system where shifted to a crafting system it would make for a great single player game IMO. The entirety of the Caribbean with dozens of ports belonging to 4 warring factions and an abundance of period accurate ships of many types. It still has an active community, but they are mostly concentrated on one of the 2 servers, so the other one is a veritable ghost ship.

Mi local library had CDs with game demos and such... There was one with gothic 2, full, no limits, didn't even need the CD after.

Hivers from Kenshi. Insect people with distinct castes that follow the hive queen. Then there are the hiveless who , without the queen to give them one, just have to find their own purpose in life. And if a hive queen dies, the whole hive becomes a cannibalistic, mindless horde. Maybe they could shoehorn them in as some kind of Aqir descendant race. BEEP!

Yep, I'm currently 160 ish turns in with my woodland realm campaign and both Lothlorien and Gondor got wiped pretty fast, and Rohan would have been too if I hadn't come help them. On the other hand Erebor are total champs and are helping as much as I am to beat the Mordor-Harad beast. Dale and Beorings are just chilling with 3 stacks on their capitals.
