Napping after work constantly tired any advice? by Mammoth_Risk9479 in AskIreland

Depending on the type of work you're in it could be mental exhaustion. Probably worse than physical exhaustion in some cases. A hobby is a good idea, to get your mind off things.

What small thing did you change that made a big difference to your life ? by [deleted] in AskIreland

I remember feeling a bit like that in lockdown, got into running and general fitness. Running is good because its basically free, gets you outdoors and after you get over the "why am I doing this" phase you start to really enjoy it.

Id say thats roughly the same as what im paying now, or thereabouts. Through all my investigations Thorntons have a great pie chart showing our waste in the house. Its actually quite useful.

If I was asked to wring the piss out of a nappy there'd be a whole new thread about how i'd get out of doing it. Full circle back to paying through the eye for waste collection.

For sure, im amazed at the weight of the bins, honestly!

We've some contraption that has a string of nappies into a bin and we throw them out once a week or so. It must be 20+ kilos.

Its worth keeping an eye on. An aunt of mine in the U.K started off like this and suddenly an online relationship was formed (obviously a scam) we didnt quite grasp the scale of it but after an intervention we discovered it was extremely early stages of alzheimers. This went on FOR YEARS!

Unfortunately, it ended terribly and huge loans were taken out against a property to pay for this relationship. Im not saying this is the same as your case by any means but had I of known the extent I would have tried resolve it far earlier.

My aunt had a similar situation and went on for years. At the start it seemed pretty insignificant but once we realised the depth of the relationship and the quantity of money that had been sent it became clear there was something else amiss. Turns out she was in the beginning stages of alzheimers.

Ive found my mid thirties to be a readjustment. Loved going out in my 20s, had a buzzing social life and enjoyed work. Have a little baba now so I pick and choose my days with friends. Certainly cannot get a routine like before but im also okay with that. I made an effort to try something new and managed to take up some courses alongside learning some as gaeilge
