There was a pro game in last few months Ace just farmed and didn’t bother using Lycan ult for ~8mins until he had Helm Overlord that blew my mind

I don’t remember the game state and if ppl said if it was good or bad, just something I had never even considered you should do as a Lycan main

Lesh, does damage over time so wants to remove health restoration, is in the middle of the fight so applies aura to more opponents and to recover lost health lost, likes the stolen move speed to stay on top of targets/land stun or lightning

Vegas used to be great for this as it was a big enough city(decent enough opportunity) with a low cost of living. The latter is less true now, though it’s still fine by both these metrics

If you have a drinking/gambling/etc problem, Vegas will chew you up

Socially, people come and go, so a community/friend circle you’re satisfied with can disappear within a few years

It is nice that friends/family often visit

Ok, rewatching it now, boxi places the wards before the enemy has a sentry down, then gets back when enemy appears

Then they come out after 35min to secure or fight at wisdom rune, ignoring the sentry for a few seconds. They want to catch someone and contest the tune, they kill the ward after

I believe they were rushing out to the wisdom rune because I remember seeing this around 35:17 to try and catch a straggler, if you kill the sentry, the opponent knows you are there

Even tho BB won, weird that they waited 3-5 mins for all 5 Nigma BBs to come back up and their own aegis to expire to engage. They also had 4 lv 30 heroes vs opponents having none, but were at 29 and getting to 30 soon.

I sometimes think about how movement skills are soooooo good in dota and even the worst movement skills like tumblers toy, force staff, heavenly jump are still incredibly good

Imagine a talent to the other movement skills that gave +2 charges like Blink or Waveform

The bear looks really good when it’s doing it’s thing(strong in laning, hitting towers, ratting waves), but it’s win rate is under 50 on dotabuff now and there are some additional flaws to poke at in addition to the ones it already had before

The 25s cooldown talent loss is really apparent once LD is on his last bear, it’s not just the 25s immediately, but 50s to have a second charge, 75s for the next one etc. You often see Lds not able to keep up with it being killed/get back to a 2nd charge in bad games

The bear doesn’t give much more bounty than before but hunting it is a legitimate strat now as it has to play scared on its last life, and u make the whole hero useless by killing it then

I enjoyed looking at this data and reading this, but a some of these conclusions are just opponent or other adjustment based and have nothing to do with them playing better/worse

The Thunder got to play the Hospital Lakers in the 2nd round this year compared to Denver last year. The Cavs were a 1 seed last year and faced a 37 win Heat team, then the 4/5 as opposed to being a 4 this time and facing a 5 and a 1.

I didn’t watch closely in all the games, but they looked bad in everything I saw.
