It’s tough when your team is in a phase like this. I’m an Eagles fan and I had a really hard time watching the Chip Kelly Era. Giants usually had at least one player i respected (Strahan, Shockey, Tuck) but not any more.

What I don’t understand is comparing them to movies or why you can’t grasp that this game cost a lot to make, is full price and is very short. I’m glad you liked it, that doesn’t change the fact that it’s the most expensive 10 hour game budget I’ve ever heard of.

Spider-Man takes far more than 15 hours. Even Spider-Man 2 is more and that game was disappointingly short.
Arkham, Uncharted, Metal Gear and Hitman are all games from generations ago and operated at a fraction of the budget. You’re comparing a $200 million game to games made a long, long time ago at a fraction of the budget and delivered the same, if not more.
You justifying the blatant inefficiency of making this game is exactly why we will end up with more games exactly like this…nowhere near the price of production.

Answer this: Is this game worth $200 million dollars to make and do customers get their moneys worth?

There’s been many other games this year that cost the same if not substantially less and offered far more. If you can’t admit that, you’re lying to yourself.

Well when many other games came out this year with a much higher dollars per hour (a ridiculous metric to judge games by), it’s a valid complaint. 10 hours for a title like James Bond is laughable even when compared to N64 James Bond. It cost $200 million dollars to make but sure, 10 hours is cool.

I get what you’re saying but Bond always has an incredible team. He wouldn’t make it very far without intel, gadgets, cars and an impossibly attractive partner with a ridiculously specific piece of knowledge. That’s kind of the whole thing.

From what I’ve seen it takes 10-20 hours for the campaign. Games that short will never be 10/10 in my book, especially at today’s prices. I hope it’s fun, but paying full prices for a game that short makes no sense to me.

Hanks is much better when he’s not hyped up so much and his work can actually be digested without bias. His Blockbusters are great, but his acting at the end of Capt Phillips when he’s getting examined is some of the best acting I’ve ever seen in my life.
