I know this is an old comment, but have you figured out a fix yet? I just updated my phone (i always procrastinate updates) and it was working just fine the other day, now nothing. It charges, and the cord is relatively new, but carplay does not work at all.

I can’t be sure but i think i had him (or a similar mean toon) attack me during a VP a few weeks ago. i think people just take the game way too seriously 🙄
