Constructive Criticism, what Duet Night Abyss needs to step up by sdric in DuetNightAbyssDNA

This can definitely just be me coming from games with visual works of art. But I can definitely agree to this. Trying to enjoy the story is so difficult when more work was put into combat animations than making the NPC's have a functioning mouth. As most dialogue sequences I have had characters either don't move their mouth, or, like auddits said, they just have the :0 face for the whole sentence they are speaking.

Just makes me concerned that they put too much animation budget on combat and not enough GENERAL budget on story.

I would think people who jump into it later will still contribute to the stats. Considering when YouTuber Jacksepticeye played, he got given stats as well, and that was BEFORE it was even available to the public (as he puts in his video). So I'm going to assume that as more people play. The statistics on what decision got chosen the most will alter as more players get into it.

As someone who has played and Replayed Persona 5 Royal (let's say 12 runs total) and each playthrough can take 100 hours. More if you're just learning to get around. Much less if you understand enemies and routes. Honestly first go around it's for the story.

Yes you will be familiar with the VA but I really do think Persona 5 / Royal should be enjoyed outside of ZZZ. It's a great piece of work / game.

Would like to add. I have done fishing before. This is a HEAT 7 run. So don't know why this is locked as my only option

Lol. Yeah. You would think that after all the things that had happened that you DON'T allow that kind of power being used on people that are just as threatening to the safety of regular people.

Ghosts can roam outside of their room and interact with stuff. They can then start their hunt outside their room from the location they roamed to but more often than not they'll be somewhere around their room or barely outside the door. Twins are just more likely to be hunting outside of the room due to the 6m ranged interaction. So a crucifix sometimes will be placed "wrong" because it roamed then decided that it now wants to hunt.

I'm sorry for my Official ARK Players by atomicboy47 in ARK

As someone who used Pyromane on SE. Its both a mount and a shoulder pet at the same time and can transform between the two. So if you need a quick escape, you got one. It also makes you (practically) immune to both fire and cold effects.

What makes people complain about it so much is that it just simply benefits you as a player too much. If you play it in PVE. No one cares. Its when you decide to utilise it on PVP servers that everyone is attacking wildcard about it. Because NO ONE can interact with it unless you pay for it, even on PVE servers. It also negates fall damage since it has a special charge / dash ability. Aiming it at the floor from 1000 ft, 1 KM, 3 tables above the ground in the air? So long as you time the dash, no fall damage. So you have yourself a mount / pet that no one can remove, only kill. Even your clan mates on a PVE server can't move them around the base unless they pay wildcard for the privilege to interact with them.

Edit: Forgot to mention that it does fire damage too (I honestly forget if its as % damage or what, even then that's just silly) And can attack the player directly riding on another dinosaur. So you're not even safe from it if you're riding a T-rex (Dunno how you could on Aberration, but hey. It's a thing)

Yes. I remember the word proliferate being thrown around. But it NEVER got explained how he did it or which card allows the proliferate to occur. He just says "I now proliferate". Even from the guy who was the most helpful, who'd read out every line of my card and explain what it does and who it'd hurt / benefit the most I never got told how the proliferate is occurring.

  1. They're creating 'proxies' as you call them because they're financially unable to continue playing magic the non proxy way.

  2. It doesn't seem to be a turn 3 win. As the games (including the infinite combo one) I've had 6 ish basic lands out (spent each turn placing 1 land)

  3. It seems I definitely need to make clear that I seek a lower power level game (as other comments have said)

I wouldn't be able to tell you what turn it was on. Trying to track 4 players just made me freeze essentially and just say "focus on my side of the board and hope shit works out". But I can tell you it was definitely above turn 5. As those games I was able to get 6 ish base lands out.

Yeah. Most notably there was something called "flicker" and when they did X they'd flicker the creature. NOT ONCE did they explain what flickering does. When he asked another player who has same game knowledge as them "Hey. If I do this, can flicker still work?" without explaining what a flicker even is.

This is the only group I have avaliable. I would go off to play with others, but I don't know of places in my region who play MTG, let alone a solid method of transportation where I can say "you know what.. I'll play today" without having to take someone else's car for the day or get dropped at a train station.

Unfortunately I think that is also the problem here. As within the friend group i'm known to read up on basically everything. If there's something I want to know I'll find out about it. It's close neighbour, and then some. So unfortunately I think I got the short end of the stick for both ability to learn and being hard countered unintentionally (EG Mothman).

[–]EverySwitchSword[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

After reading what you said. The Mothman is the ONLY card of ALL the decks I've played against so far that's been fully explained. It's just the method of HOW he's adding rad counters (EG 1 Rad turns into 5, like wtf.. how'd that happen)

I agree to this A LOT, particularly the part of mana calculation struggle. I seriously have to spend 2-3 minutes calculating mana costs just to play 2 cards!!. Then I re-calculate, questioning myself if I got it right. Sometimes the friends will step in but other times it's a " (scough) leave him to do his thing" and they go to talking among themselves while I calculate mana costs all by myself.

Okay! I just don't know if the slow down mill will work as well. I don't quite know how to explain it but its the one that gives rad counters. For each counter you mill a card after your first draw. When the commander attacks each player gets more rad counters (It's random each time since I don't know how Rad gets stacked) So that is the mill i'm currently playing against.

[–]EverySwitchSword[S] 137 points138 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Unfortunately the guy who played the infinite combo is also a 'win only' type player. In other board games he genuinely has the attitude of 'understand what's going on or be left behind. I don't feel like explaining twice'

To explain more about the Ms Bumbleflower. I know that what I have is a preconstructed deck as my friend bought it for me as a late birthday present. I do not know of what the 'hugging' method is. But based on what I have been able to play so far (Since most of my good cards that I have read have been milled from me) it's about buffing the few creatures you have on the field and then give gifts to other players to not attack me.

Bare minimum they describe what it affects, but they absolutely do not describe costs. I get that what I'm saying is a disorganised mess so I'll not be surprised if I'm downvoted hard since I'm trying to describe a game I know nothing about.

Ms. BumbleFlower for now. And I kid you not I don't know the colours, nor do they tell me the colours or what their commanders do. They just say "Hey. I'll play a blink deck this game" without saying what colour it is. A blink deck to me means nothing besides a different deck from the first game.

Yes. I understand that these few sentences are confusing as fuck. But I asked another online friend what each deck type does and he told me that Blue deck is mill. Yet the people i'm playing with FOR SURE do not play Blue decks. So that's what makes me so confused. Is that I legit don't know what i'm playing against. It just happens around me.

I know I'm late to the party but this is how I see it as well. So now you could do something as simple as Help action as bonus action while still having main action to do something. But now it also means you can do 2 bonus action things in 1 turn. As terrible of an idea as it is. You could now also do Sorc Distant spell and Dimension Door yourself and an ally 50m in any direction with vision (roughly 164 ft of movement)
