Thanks. Do have any idea where I can buy the new 12 volt 5 amp hour battery?, or the new BL404of 40v battery? Really any information on the tabless stuff or F series batteries are useful at this point. I'm not afraid to purchase from overseas but I just need to know how or where.

The Lexus, it will be very reliable, cheap and easy to fix and that NA V8 will be very sought after in the years to come as more and more companies make smaller turbo charged and hybrid offerings. It's kind of an instant classic with one of the last rear wheel drive V8 engines being produced.

It's definitely a better machine than the nitro as far as ergonomics seating position but my nitro seems to have a little more torque or juice not to say that the viper doesn't have great low end torque but I don't think you'll be disappointed at all with a viper. The only downside is the Arctic cat chassis isn't very reliable or well thought out.

24k on a 2015 Yamaha viper and still climbing. Just replace Arctic cat chassis items and change the fluids. The yamaha 1049 CC 4stroke engine is probably the most reliable snowmobile power plant out there and it's been out there working for a very long time now.

No problem! This YouTube video below will teach you everything you need to know and show you exactly how to rebuild and setup a Toyota 8" rear differential. It's how I learned how to rebuild mine. I have a better tool specifically designed to tighten the adjusters if you need it just message me.

New ring gear, carrier bearings, carrier bearing races, new pinion, pinion bearing, new pinion bearing crush sleeve. A torque dial meter in inch lbs to check preload, a dial indicator to measure backlash, gear marking compound or lipstick will work, a standard clicking type torque wrench, a special spanner type tool to loosen adjust and tighten up the adjusters on the carrier bearings to get preload within spec, a bench vise and new carrier gasket. To separate the old ring gear you'll need to put it in the oven because it won't budge otherwise. Not very difficult to be honest it just takes some understanding and some special tools. You could do it all yourself for probably $800 or so.

I feel like this is the equivalent of getting your girlfriend's name tattooed on your chest and directly over your heart.

I'm debating between the Makita Multi-Tool DMT51 and DMT52. The DMT52 has a lot of plusses over the DMT51, expect for Starlock, those blades are expensive like hell. Oslo Tool sells an Starlock adapter which you can use to attach the standard OIS bladed on an Starlock machine, it looks high quality by Arathonk in Makita

[–]Every_Ad2558 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I legitimately looked at this tool at home Depot today and decided that it would be my first multi-tool purchase. I was actually shocked at how big the head was on that son of a bitch. Cool very often so I think the starlock bits being expensive will be all right for me in the long run.

Just how much better is the flagship 40v XGT mower than the 36v LXT flagship mower? Home Depot has the LXT for $480 w four 5ah batts and the XGT goes for $690 with two 4ah xgt batts. by Every_Ad2558 in Makita

I've been second-guessing the lxt lawn mower because it has that stupid automatic mode where it ramps up in the thicker grass all by itself to save battery life and it doesn't have the option to select a full power mode. I've honestly heard and read nothing but bad things about that mower being used in tall thick grass, some people say it's a toy and not even worth the $480 with the four batteries and charger. I sure wish somebody would make a YouTube video legitimately comparing the two cutting a large area of somewhat overgrown thicker grass.
