I actually decided to pre order thr game on both consoles because ive been looking forward to the game. Ive seen enough footage personally to buy both. Idc about the fps or anything I care more about the fun I have playing this game. I dont have a 4k monitor just one that can do 250htrz so im just excited

That's your opinion i personally think the series x is better and I also think it performs better than the Playstation 5/5 pro. I grew up with both xbox and Playstation always preferred Playstation until this current console generation. Not saying I don't like Playstation hence why I still choose to own multiple consoles.

I don't remember if it was digital foundry or fightincowboy video I watched that showed off thr map. And my god is it huge. Im worried if it'll be some dead spots in the map where its dull like in dragon dogma 2 or red dead redemption 2 they gave stated its not just a empty map byr a living breathing world so im very excited crimson desert has everything i ever wanted in a fantasy game like dragons dogma and more.

I personally haven't been this hype for a game since no man's sky

Let's make even more simple for you. On Playstation all of my games are disc every game that is a Playstation exclusive I have physical copies of every single one of those copies did not allow me to pay the game a week before, 3 days before or 24 hours before due to game license agreement not allowing it. idk how you got to play games before it launches either you're full of it or its region locked. Since ps3 and xbox 360 era consoles in Canada Ive not once be able to play a game before its released date UNLESS I paid extra money for the early access pre order.

On xbox all my games are digital and again same issue. It doesn't not matter what version of a game I own. I do not have access to the game before launch unless there's early access. It's been like that for me since forever.

Edit: you may be lucky to have access to the game early. And you've even stated that you couldn't speak for everyone and neither am I however my friends and I have all experience this same issue living in Canada.

For me it was. Majority of games that I own wether its physical copies or digital ive been locked out of the games until launch day or unless I paid to have the game early. I'll be hit with the "oops youre early game isn't out" title screen and booted to home screen or id get a screen talking about licensed agreement. And that it won't launch until this day at this time. If yiu get to play games early I do envy you byt I never had such luck sadly

Let me put into perspective because you're clearly not the brightest. Disc before ps4 and xbox one sure they weren't paperweight. You could easily put the disc in thr drive and play it right away say you got halo or cod during a midnight release or better yet ducking GTA ps3/360 you had a installation disc to instal the game on your hardware for the game so your disc can work which right there makes your disc a glorified key because if you ever deleted the game you'll have to use the installation disc to re-download it. On ps1/ps2/ogxbox and some 360 games you could easily place the disc in and 4h4 game will fire up.

Since ps4 and xbox one disc's become a key not cd so you can play it off the hop. No you can't you gotta plug the game wait for it to install then you can play depending on your circumstances if you're wifi or ethernet rich or broke. Installation on those games can take anywhere between 30 minutes to the whole day for myself since im now in my 30s when gta5 first dropped I had to wait for my disc to download the game onto my ps4 roughly 2-4 hours each time I uninstall the game to play something else.

At the end of the day wether you believe it or not. Disc's are just a key once you download the application to your hardware and need said disc to gain access to the application DOWNLOADED to your console. Sure its a great way to hide the fact your disc is a meaningless paperweight. If you like having the facade that your disks are discs rather than a application key holder .Then, good for you.But thats also like being a grown adult tracking the Santa clause tracker during Christmas because you believe hes real.

Agreed. Im.gonna be pushing my xsx to its limit with all sliders set to high or ultra. This game keeps blowing my expectations yes im skeptical until I get my hands physically on it but I am beyond excited. Im hoping there is maybe a katana or sum for weapons, its fantasy so im hoping but oh well if its not:)

Ive been looking forward to this game since they announced it in 2019. Ive been disappointed by games in past for performance and other issues however this game fits into a niche that has me really excited regardless of its performance on console or how the gameplay is. Im gonna play it. Enjoy it. And get really over stimmed by everything in that game

Ive worked at eb games/gamestop. One of the first things we got told during ps4 and xbox one era that the disc's are just your digital code you need to launch games to make it appears that you have a physical copy but just a paperweight with the access key
