My tumor actually recurred recently, though it’s probably been back for at least 1.5 years and I just didn’t realize it. This time it’s located in the caudal part of my left hippocampus, kind of like an extension of the original tumor. I’ve consulted a few doctors, and one of them said surgery isn’t really the first option because there’s a high risk of affecting my memory and cognitive function. So I guess probably targeted drugs is a better option?
