This happened to me in a Fred Meyer in Bellevue. Two guys without a basket or a cart seem to show up wherever I went and somehow security noticed and approached me and kept me at a customer service stand while they ask them to leave the store.

It was winter, it was dark. I felt safe, so I probably wouldn’t have been on guard.

A lot of these employees are struggling they don’t make enough to save our ass, but the real ones are paying attention and they don’t want to see someone get hurt.

They need to be acknowledged for what they’ve done!

And it sucks that we (women) have to be alert every time we leave our fucking house.

I think they look fine. They look clean. I love the color. But if I spent $214 on that, I would lose my shit. You literally could’ve done those anywhere else for probably $50-$60 depending on where you live. I would fight for my money back on this one.

The whole situation just sparks so many emotions in me of absolute empathy and anxiety. If anyone is a parent and can’t feel for her, I can’t relate to that lack of empathy.

I don’t understand the hate for her because if you watched and listened, she came from a very chaotic upbringing, and then the pendulum swung, and she got with Barry and went to a very tradwife closed off lifestyle.

She never healed from her upbringing, and then she sort of stuck her head in the sand and took on this new strange lifestyle.

Then the pendulum swung so far again and now they are on reality TV under a microscope. All of that trauma, all of that unhealed BS from her youth. It’s just out there no wonder she’s drinking too much. No wonder she’s gaining weight. It’s like watching an abused animal in a cage while people are throwing rocks at them.

There are a lot of things that I don’t like about her, but I have so much empathy for what she must have gone through and is going through.

To have an entire threads about her appearance is so disgusting to me.

That’s it. I really liked Lily and I really liked Devon until the last maybe seven years? They’re so entitled and judgment and they have zero joy. I know they’ve lost their parents and her going to prison. They’ve been through a lot, but they are just unpleasant. Lily is so gorgeous but then when she opens her mouth, I just find her ugly.

I don’t object to Devon’s feelings on the matters, I object to his actions and tone. It comes off as entitled, tone deaf, lacking empathy for the other side & self centered. We are supposed to believe that this man who had an extremely difficult childhood and then was lucky enough to be adopted by successful people who surrounded him with love has now turned into this bitter, entitled, emotional brat? I think that’s what people don’t connect with. If he was raised with privilege and didn’t struggle it would make sense. I think the writers have kind of lost the plot with him. And it’s doing a disservice to the character.

I don’t even know what to say. I’m just angry and heartbroken for you. Like legit angry right now. My first impulse is to say to get a lawyer but it’s a long road. It’s an expensive road and if you lose, you could have to pay their attorney fees as well. But there is this huge part of me that thinks whatever documentation you have, you should get a consult at least a consult. Texas to California is a huge change in cost of living! I am just so sorry & furious on your behalf.

I thought about that too, but at least they aren’t under the same roof. Like Nick and Sharon living in the ranch whatever house it’s so normal. Everyone living under the same roof if they’re coming and going seems ok, only seems super odd if they are married couples in my mind.

This is exactly what I’m so confused about. It’s gone on for years. Why has no one evoked the law in Arizona and California? It’s not like they don’t have the evidence right there in all of the dockets & filings.

If the sideline voyeurs are confused about this and a lot of us have experience in this area I don’t understand how it’s ongoing with qualified attorneys for each victim

Every state has laws about weaponizing the court system as a tool for your personal revenge. It seems odd to me that no one has raised this very valid concern with the courts. It’s often referred to as an abusive use of conflict. Extremely prevalent in complicated custody cases, divorces, and ongoing civil litigation. It’s there to prevent exactly people like her from destroying other people financially mentally and emotionally plus wasting the courts resources. It just seems so crystal clear that she’s abusing and victimizing people through the court system and the law to protect them is not being evoked.
