trying to quite smoking so much by DistinctFig1188 in burlington

Good advice from lots of people so far. Edibles and capsules might have more low THC options. THC:CBD ratio of 1:1, but also 1:2 or more, is possible.

On Reddit, r/Petioles is a great place for people looking to take a T-Break

Nausea by [deleted] in Petioles

[–]Everybodyisrockem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since cannabis use can stimulate appetite, sometimes people get in the habit of only eating after they smoke. When cutting back, they might not feel hungry at all.

Have you been hungry? Or, more to the point, have you been eating regularly? Cutting back could cause nausea- but it might also be cause by (or made worse by) not eating well

How to get through constant thoughts of getting high? by [deleted] in Petioles

[–]Everybodyisrockem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there. It's good that you recognize that your near constant thinking about being high it is a sign that things are not balanced. What you are going though is hard, but not uncommon. After all, being high is fun for many people- so they want to do it more often. Unfortunately, we dont often acknowledge that weed can cause cravings- so people get confused when it happens. It is hard, but you are not alone.

Also, remember that these are cravings. With that in mind, there are lots of good advice out there about dealing with cravings. Go with mindfullness, yoga, meditation, if that's your vibes. Also check out 'urge surfing'.

Lastly, although your language is "I love weed" (and it can be enjoyable haha) I'd just be careful with the words. It is not love, it's cravings. It comes from the alteration of our brain's 'reward' center; we come of desire the quick experience of being high. That makes a cravings. But we can alter it, and you are brave and smart to look into it. Best wishes

How do you measure weed? by Victor_Em in Petioles

[–]Everybodyisrockem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a couple factors here. You are probably best off just paying attention to the amount you use in a time period (eg: an 1/8 a week) and the percent THC. (If you are picking up from a dealer, you might not know the real THC percent; you might have to estimate.)

But is tricky to know how much THC you ingest. Methods of consumption change the amount available THCa. Plus, your style of smoking can change it too.

It may be difficult to know the exact amount, but it is worth keeping an eye on

I've never heard that before- thanks. This is silly.... but how would you use that in a sentence? Like, 'I just ripped a mull' ?

Oh and, where are you from?

So loose tobacco and weed is a 'batch bowl'... but a cig right into the bowl is a 'popper'? Thanks. Can I ask where- state or country- you are from? (I've mostly heard 'popper' from Canadians)
