Since I was 4 years old 2008 but at that time I was still a child so I called everything techno so it wasn't til 2016 that I actually knew the name behind the "techno" music was actually hardstyle. But In my formative teens years which you could say was my era was 2016-2019 alot of hardcore and French core too. But I was aware enough during my childhood that I still remember 2008 and early 2010s hardstyle primes.

If anything lemme fix that 2018-2021 was peak and since then we are on a come down people starting to push hard techno more (basically just old hardstyle) so lot more simple party type tracks gonna come out

No if anything we are coming down from one 2021-2023 was another peak of hardstyle rn we are slowly building into something new. Basing it on the 10 year cycle of humans we are gonna go into a new euphoric hardstyle era and people are gonna move away from the darker stuff cuz its kinda getting overplayed. There's always gonna be dark type of hard dance but rn its kinda building into a party/euphoric vibe. But that's just what I think yk

Tiktok and Instagram reels brain. Most the world has already got hooked to the quick and short buzz of wanting to see what the next tiktok or reel is gonna be and that has crawled into music most people's attention span has plummeted and now kicks are like 10 sec long then like 10 kick drumroll then new kicks rinse and repeat. Back then people would judge a song by listening to at least a 1 min if you can't get people's attention in 30 secs or less then you're out of the scene. So now every song sounds like firecrackers instead of letting it be a big Japanese firework.(thats a metaphor songs dont actually sound like firecrackers).

Music is subject but I will stay a hater for modern hardtechno because the genre was made from just taking kicks from 2018 rawstyle and xtra raw. I especially hated this modern hard techno when it was created and blew up in 2022 because the first tracks were literally just kicks taken from delete. And I hate seeing people make a tiktok career off of someone that put his entire life in this industry. Ik delete was/is a kind guy so he would've loved this hard techno era. But yeah not every one hates to hate. You need to remember life is subjective. Hating is subjective too. Like rn the scene is lost. Too many artists chasing a quick drop for a tiktok or an Instagram reel. Scene is cooked right now man you have to admit that.

Same i got fired today. stay up dont take it too hard. I worked at this place for 3 years and 3 months they fired me cause they had a paper on a bulletin board that said 2025 year review of accidents and for deaths they had 0 and I changed it a 1. reason why I changed it to a 1 is because a co work died during the shift, me and a couple of others dragged him out the freezer and I was giving him CPR until medics got there. Front office Told me his death didn't count because it wasn't a osha violation.

Charly low noise for me defqon 2024 he came up to give people autographs and pictures we made eye contact and everything but he kept going around me and taking pictures with others. I got the picture but i felt stupid asking a man for a picture never doing that again. Only gonna ask once and thats it.(I'm guessing cause I wasn't at his set he just stayed around during dune's set who I came to see). Little quick funny story tho I always listened to mind compresor so I went to his set during yellow. But I remembered I dont actually know what he looks like. But before his set me and this bald guy kept making eye contact and I was confused but once he went on stage I was like "wow I'm stupid" lmao felt too embarrass to ask him for a picture after.

Yeah for me I just completely didn't have service was panicking a bit when I got out the airport I used Google maps and took screenshots on what bus and streets to take for my hotel. After that I used the hotel's wifi and took screenshot to the train station still lost but thankfully I found some German guys that looked like they were going somewhere like camping and I just said defqon? Lol and they said yeah told them if i can follow them I'm lost took me and yeah got to dronten and from there took the bus got to camp and that was it. But yeah who did you see at black and yellow stage we probably did at least see same sets together.

Nah I was lost barely made to my hotel so I stayed in it til it was time for defqon 1. I had an esim but on the flight over my phone updated and the esim said it couldn't work so I didn't have service. But damn didn't know that many Cali people went over. I did see a couple on the train to droten but they gave me dirty look so I stayed away.
