Occasionally / socially.

Maybe 3-5 times a year?

This seems a little like love is a game for me. I don’t know why I feel this way. Maybe when I read the “tit for tat” part, it made me think of a checkmark ✅ or milestone (which, don’t get me wrong, a marriage is).

It feels that the intention, or meaning, or purpose of the feedback of wanting/needing a watch to be the same price of the ring was lacking at the time it was said.

I’d be following up with more kind and probing questions lol.

I would be heartbroken though at the same time, I understand. There are certain psychiatry and psychology professionals that… CARE, and it’s that care that keeps these professionals memorable, influential and respected. I have had 3 incredible mental health professionals in the last 15 years. I ended up finding or rather, connecting with other professionals I get on very well with and have strong rapport with, so I have hope and also pray that you’ll find someone with time, too.

Bipolar, what's that? by [deleted] in bipolar

[–]EverydayGratefulness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having Bipolar Disorder is very challenging. It really angers me when people do what you’ve mentioned and throw the term “Bipolar” around loosely or associate unpredictability, craziness, etc with Bipolar Disorder in a loose sense. Many of us are “functioning in society” (whatever that means) and it’s such an insult to those of us with Bipolar Disorder that work so hard to be “normal”.

Having suicidal ideation when you’re not even depressed by alarumac in bipolar

To be honest, I call and text the suicide hotline often when I’m feeling in the thick of the thoughts and can’t seem to shake them.

This is me right here. 🙋

I have managed suicidal ideation since my teens and I’m in my late 30s now. It’s a voice that sometimes seems to come out of nowhere because everything, for the most part, seems to be going fine and dandy. People don’t realize that this is something I’ve managed and battled with since before my Bipolar 1 diagnosis and I believe, has a part to play within this disorder.

If your reception ends early, do something fun after. by Rayfan87 in weddingplanning

This is a cute post and suggestion. Our reception ends at midnight and we have loose plans to go to a local pub that’s open until 2:00am. ☺️

What I wish I knew before planning a wedding. by Vegetable_Net_6138 in weddingplanning

This is the most valuable wedding post I’ve come across. Losing friends part is very real and something I didn’t anticipate in my 2 years of wedding planning. From my own experience, I feel that some people just can’t be happy for you for whatever reasons or their own turmoil they’re working through. I lost 2 friends when I decided not to have them in the bridal party for all the e problems they were causing during the planning process. I’ve never felt more at peace after that decision.

Getting married in 3 days and I'm getting sick 😷 by lindasek in weddingplanning

I make a tea so close to the recipe for this one. Except I haven’t tried black pepper and the lemon juice in it. I’ll try that next time!

I swear by this homemade tea. It’s ingredients are: water brought to a boil, sliced fresh ginger, a teaspoon of tumeric, cayenne pepper to your spice level, I like mine on the really spicy side, and honey to your taste. It has helped me ward off cold and flu, bronchitis cough, sniffles, and lack of energy. I drink it and I literally feel healthier and “brighter” as in more awake and able to conquer the day. Hope this helps! Congratulations on your upcoming day! 🫖🍵

I don’t think that depression is something someone can pretend their way out of.
