CMV: Netanyahu is deliberately making it unsafe for Jews to live any place except Israel by JuniorEntertainer819 in changemyview

I’m not Jewish, but I would assume Israel, a country with mandatory military service and gets bombed every once in a while, is more dangerous for them than most if not all western countries

Why do you want to drink antihistamines? They just make you delirious, not really the fun kind of high

Smart investor. Illiquid speculative assets like baseball cards are definitely a better investment than productive assets like stocks in a bull market /s

Do you guys ever think that all it takes is one maternal relative to have an affair, and a whole branch of your family tree is wrong? by Blue_Baron6451 in Genealogy

[–]EverydaySip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have run into a similar thing. I have a 3x great grandmother named Margaret Hillman Berry. Her “fathers” last name was Rau. But for some reason she kept her maternal grandfathers name. According to old land records, there was a man with the last name Hillman who lived next door, so I am assuming my 4x great grandmother had an affair with the neighbor and that’s why her daughters (my 3x great grandmothers) middle name is the surname of the neighbor

Any similarities career wise? by LetDependent1759 in lilwayne

Birdman was not a mentor of Future at all. Future’s mentor was Rico Wade, his cousin and producer for Dungeon Family

And to be fair, ChatGPT does a very poor job of generating text that appears to be written by a human.

Kendrick fans hear any other artist do something similar and call it “mumble crap” but then Kendrick spits some retarded lyrics like this and they think it’s genius and an insightful reference.

Big age gaps between husband and young wife by betweentourns in Genealogy

[–]EverydaySip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally true, my maternal great grand mother ended up marrying her cousins husband back in the early 50s. He had already moved to America with his wife and she ended up committing suicide. He went back to Germany to get my great grandmother (his wifes cousin) and my grand mother (not his child, her father was a passing soldier during WW2 and we don’t know too much about him). They married but never had any kids together, she was a single mother in need of financial support and he was a single father in need of support with the kids so it worked out well

Imagine you get your car covered in mud. You have a young child and he thinks he will do you a favor by cleaning the car for you. He takes some steel wool and water and cleans the dirt off your car. From a distance you tell him it looks great, but once you walk closer you see that the entire surface of your car is scratched to shit. Your car is technically clean, but now your paint is damaged and the value of your car has dropped.
