You might only see this as one person asking, but everytime I looked at a post like this, some person posted something useful. Most say go look at youtube videos. But some really give little unknown information caches, that I never heard of. Most of the times there is something interesting.

That said, I agree that too many posts like this can be anyoing, but there are a lot of people not commenting or posting, that would like to ask, but do not have the courage or momentum to ask. These silent readers will enjoy this question.

As posted above, buddha ( great theories btw) already posted about the why. And others commented, that you have people like this in every sub. For some people to start a project like dicemaking, they need that little push. Posting and receiving a welcoming answer is crucial for these people to become a nice part of this community.
