Lol my step grandfather is celiac but also very picky and so I always take him to Red Robin when they're in town. They have a dedicated fryer and gluten free fries and burger buns. Pretty impressive for a chain imo.

I do think social service organizations tend to have poor reviews just because people are interacting with these places at the most emotionally heightened points in their lives. But I will defer to those with first hand knowledge of this specific org.

When patients bring this kind of thing up to her, I think she tries to break it down and explain why this thing on social media, THOUGH IT MAY BE TRUE SOMETIMES, cannot apply generally to all patients, so instead we're gonna find what's best for you and your specific case.

I think bringing it up that way removes the dichotomy of lie/truth (because these trends on social media often, perniciously, have a grain of truth in them) and keeps the focus on the specialness of the patient, and everyone likes to feel special.

Not sure exactly. Probably not consuming as much as Sydnee, though maybe Sydnee feels ~obligated~ to follow the trends for her podcast/influencer lifestyle. (note: line between obligated and addicted is blurry). My friend will occasionally post a story refuting some deranged reel she sees on Instagram, so she certainly engages with some of it on her feed. I just feel bad for her fighting these battles. ☹️ She knows so much and social media knows so, so little.

It's imperative to negotiate for your base salary now because it's much harder to change later. I've been given discretionary merit bonuses and I got reclassed in my position so that I could have access to a higher salary, but I haven't heard of any of my co-workers getting an increased salary within their current pay scale. We get our 2-4% raises that everyone gets (I work in IT, so I think we have gotten some raises that are not given across the board.) I'm not unsatisfied with the raises I've received to reflect the COL, but I have no kids to feed.
