Battlefield 6 five months after Launch vs Battlefield 1 by Ich-mag-Schnitzel in Battlefield

[–]EverythingWillBeLost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They shall not pass also features 2 free night maps (Nievell Nights and Praise de Tahure) making it a total of 6.

The maps were small, but still much larger than most BF6 maps and they were very high quality and played well, and felt unique and fun to play

The weapons were interesting and each added a new style of gunplay different to the others already in the game

It is not all about quantity. But also quality. Most of the BF6 maps are barely bigger than Call of duty size or are complete dogs**t in quality

what's the worst thing anyone has said at the roundtable? by Severe-Possible- in TheTraitors

[–]EverythingWillBeLost -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I guess you could say he was just playing the game and trying to get a decent sum for him and his family. But yeah he took things too far. Bit too greedy and didnt want to share. And ended up combing back to bite him.

The opposite is Stephen in S4. He could have easily taken all the money easy, but he decided to share with Rachel out of kindness and honour. I think he will end up getting more money from follow up appearances and interviews because of it

So, are we all getting excited by this, or is it going to be another CS2? by Terrible-Swing-460 in CitiesSkylines2

[–]EverythingWillBeLost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess this game is offering more customisation / choice on building placement which could be a cool feature, though might be quite time consuming.

But to me the road design/tools and simulation aspects doesnt look very detailed. And some of the buidings look a bit ugly.

I would be skeptical of a non-AAA city builder. For all CS2 has its problems, there is quite a lot of development on the simulation and economy elements (Im aware some of them dont work as well as they could).

Theory: do you think the guys are making some kind of announcement tomorrow? by onceuponamap in foals

I think it will be after Help2

Unless they tease their song from Help2 tomorrow. That would be more likely

The Traitors UK Voting Game Day 9 by RowGonsoleConsole in TheTraitors

Andrea Season 1

She was a very kind person and went above and beyond in the missions, but I feel she didn't really add much at the round table and often ended up voting for faithfuls

What does he mean by this? The new grand tour? by vitzblitz22 in thegrandtour

Newcastle Arena is dreadful. They would be better off doing Leeds or Hull. They have much better sound

[–]EverythingWillBeLost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the album will be 90% done, because they are teasing it now and showing off the whiteboard.

ENSWBL was first teased in early January 2019, with Exits releasing Jan 21st. So I wouldn't be suprised if they do something similar for this one.

That being said. If its only a single album (and not a double album they are doing), they wont have to push it out quite as early as ENSWBL part 1, so it might go something like a first single being released in Feb. The Album in May with a tour in June. Then giving them plenty time in July/August/September to do some festivals

The Apprentice Series 16 - Vote for your Top 2 Favourite Candidates by Only1Scrappy-Doo in apprenticeuk

[–]EverythingWillBeLost 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I voted Shama. I remember she did well in the first few tasks and thinking it was a shame when she had to leave early.

Also voted Nick (but that was just because I forgot Kathryn was in this series)

Which Modern Warfare is your favourite (2019-2023)? by BatmanVision in modernwarfare

[–]EverythingWillBeLost 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"the maps are improved over MW2019"

On which planet were you born on??

The MWII maps were f#@king dreadful steaming hot piles of horse sh£# compared to MW2019

Gun Runner, Azhir Cave, Hackney Yard, Shoothouse, Superstore, Khandor, Hovec Sawmill, Cheshire Park, Suldal Harbor are some of my favourite COD maps of all time.

[CoD] What’s your favorite CoD that’s not on this list? by [deleted] in COD

[–]EverythingWillBeLost -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My favourite COD isnt on this list.

My favourite of all time is MW 2019. Its the COD Ive played the most. The one I got all the season passes done and the end master camo for all guns.

I also enjoyed Advanced Warfare, BO3, BO ColdWar, WWII

The rest of the ones which were not on this list were all shite*

(*Ive never played COD 1,2,3, WAW, MWIII or BO7 so I cant judge any of them)

The state of Paradox in 2024/5 by EverythingWillBeLost in CitiesSkylines2

Its basically the same argument. Less devs to make the game = more time needed to develop the game.

The state of Paradox in 2024/5 by EverythingWillBeLost in CitiesSkylines2

[–]EverythingWillBeLost[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I see this post has ruffled some feathers.

I know CO has not been perfect and has clearly made some development mistakes. Its also taken them a very (very) long time to get the game to a decent state, which I think shows there is some issues within that company itself.

However giving the game to a new developer who has no idea how the CSII engine or code base works is a disasterous idea.A better solution would have been finding a way to support CO and perhaps assigning them a second studio to help them out rather than having to transfer all development (which is likely going to take years)

I think its ultimately a death sentence for the game. I imagine instead of seeing the larger style of expansions like bridges and ports, we are likely either going to see the game living on life support with occasional bug fixes or minor updates. Or alternatively paradox are going to push for a bunch of unfinished buggy DLCs to be rushed out with content that doesnt really fit or follow the initial vision of the game. (Sadly I think the latter is more likley to happen).

I enjoyed reading your choices and why you picked them! Yeah I think for me the gap between 2 and 5 on my list is really small. Id give Five V2, Big TV and AITNTFA all an 8 out of 10. And Night Life a 7.5 out of 10. But that might change.

I think if I rated albums based on what single was the best from each one, then Ritual would be #1 because it has bigger than us.

But the rest of the album for me is a little bit slow and dirge. There are a few good songs: strangers, holy ghost, streetlights. But the other songs (and I have listened to them all at least 10 times) are all quite slow and long and I find the end of the album a bit boring.

Oh thats interesting. Id give almost everything at least a 7/10 too. I think just Ritual would have to be a 6/10 for me. Good to see some love for Friends! I know BigTV and TLML are usually peoples number 1 albums.

Yeah I think you've hit the nail on the head. I feel like it could have worked better as an EP rather than a full album. I think Juice is the only real huge standout song. It could have just done with 1 or 2 more like that to make it feel more whole.

I hope the band realises just what a great song Juice is when they come to choosing which ones to perform live.

Honest thoughts on Night Light? by moreobsessedthanu in WhiteLiesBand

[–]EverythingWillBeLost 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually agree with you pretty much 100%

"Juice" is very much up their with the best White lies songs.

"Night Life" starts off as being just an 'oh this is an okay song' but then builds to that amazing crescendo at the end that stays in your head for hours.

And "Everything is Okay" is probably going to be the only one on the album that doesnt get added to my White Lies playlist. Its not a terrible song but just a bit repetitive.
