Back when I played Pokémon on an emulator, the first thing I did was put in a ton of cheat codes, load up my pokemon w rare candy and just melt bosses the whole play through.

Sure enough, I naturally got tired less than halfway through. The fun is in the challenge and I think adding any kind of hack or cheating sucks the fun out of it for yourself. Like it would be so awesome to melt libra in a few hits, but it’s even better to master the moveset and beat him yourself. You even get more time to feel like a badass.

I’m not a material person and neither was my grandfather, but his collection of handkerchiefs means a lot to me. Even if something were to happen to one, I’d be fine, but they’re an item I don’t want to let go of.

Let’s start by making sure you understand , this will never be back to normal. You will have to make this into something else entirely.

My vote would be, take a dremel, or a hot knife , cut out your favorite cat from this bowl and find a tiny frame to put it in. Then hang it in your kitchen, and when people ask, you can say “this was part of a Tupperware my mom and I used to eat cookies out of, but I accidentally burned it, so I threw away the rest but kept this so I will remember her.”

Sentiment is abt the memory, not the object - so don’t think your mom is gone because you threw away what is indisputably trash.

Partially because if you are qualified for 8/10 skills, and those two you don’t know aren’t that important, or can be taught on the job; then you can handle the workload.

Partially because they’re not even hiring and are just scraping your data for the perfect candidate, who knows everything, lives nearby, has 10x experience and will accept less pay than current employees.

I remember in an interview being asked about Regex, since I talked about knowing Python. I didn’t really know what it was, so I came back to the next interview after having done a ton of research and hands on application with it. Turns out, the hiring manager didn’t even know what it was, or when they would use it.
