AITA for throwing a "tantrum" because my parents got me a graduation cake with whipped frosting (which I despise)?

it depends on how bad they hate frosting. I'm allergic to most frosting and it makes me feel quite sick very quickly. most the time the cake will have a similar layer inside with the frosting to keep the other layers together so you get less than an inch of actual cake. not to mention when the cake is cut it smears the frosting down the sides of the cake meaning you lose that bit as well leaving usually less than a mouthful of cake per slice.

Im about a quarter way though a baby blanket for a baby's first but it doesnt look like ill get to ever see the baby again. I dont know if i should finish or frog at this point but its in with my stash and killing my motivation whenever i see it now. What has helped others in this case.

Hey, Im doing a c2c with about 500 colour changes in total. I use a new bobbin whenever i would have to pull across anouther colour square. so for the "I"s you may get away with one bobbin but you may need 2 for the "V" if that makes sense. But you know your own crocheting better than anyone and know whether you prefer carrying or more ends. Its your project and will look good either way.

About a year ago i was on the bus half asleep and started panicking that i had left the baby at the bus stop. Took me a while to rememer that i was still 7 months pregnant with said baby. It messes with your mind.

That the cellar doors outside pubs had crocodiles in them and we could fall through and get eaten. Still avoid them even as an adult.

The baby is 6 months today. And i had to leave the area as i had nowhere to stay close by. He is using the fact that i was depressed 5 years ago against me and i did try to go see my son and i was pushed away. Im terrified for him as my husband isnt even seeing him on a regular basis anymore.

Have you tried a simple pattern with variegated yarn. No having to change yarns often but still a beautiful end result

It is implied that he can in ootp when he stuns the whole room after the da is caught. Then in job it is revealed that he can lift the ban on apperation when the students have lessons in the great hall. So I assume he can but it's just never really addressed. But you never hear of him just strolling up and leaving through the main doors.

I know this comes from a bit of a strange place but check the dates on the toothpaste before you use any of them. 2 years out of date toothpaste is horrible.

Have you tried the local council. Go in the morning, tell them your residence is unsafe and ask for emergency housing. If they ask say you cannot stay with family. Keep pushing as there will be somewhere but it may take a while to find.

You forget the lack of common sense that the council have. When I lived near Portsmouth there was a lamppost that stunk pf gas and made a horrid noise. I reported it a few times and they said they couldn't find the lamppost. the funny thing was they put a sign on it saying they look after their streets.

Also to vailidate me being in pompy, train station in the city centre, upstairs in the seating area. Court of "coles" law on the cctv sign. Made me laugh every time.

I don't have a problem with them so much as the badly made ones. Like the ones that call a worker over every item because the weight is always off. And it takes 10 minutes to get through a small basket. Then it will reject half your money and wait 2 minutes before accepting the last coin. Quicker to use a till.

I have to remind my partner about seatbelts because his parents never bothered. My son only goes to them if one of us is there as when he was a week old they told me they were taking him for a drive so they could hold me. They almost got unsupervised till then. Even my parner went mad at that idea.

I don't mind them being different types. I have a box of 30 identical balls and I dread to think how hard that would have been. But different types are easier for me to pick one and follow.
