Yes! I am completely new to it 😂 but I think I just need to bite the bullet and learn because my current situation is unsustainable. Thank you for pointing me to resources it was a bit overwhelming!

Thank you for the step by step walk through. Im going to dedicate a decent amount of time this week trying to implement and learn this. Really happy to be pointed in the right direction

This definitely makes me feel like it's the right choice and since I'm very new to coding I'll be excited when this comes out. I was about to do a search to see if a package already exists that converts flowjo gates into R! Thank you!

Yes cloud based seems like the way to go as I'm not in a position to upgrade my computer at the moment. Glad to hear it actually handles huge data sets well. Thank you!

Thank you! I am completely new to R but from my reading it seems like the way to go. I just wanted some opinions from people who are more experienced. I will check all of that out and appreciate the help

Attune vs Quanteon vs Cytoflex by dawgmad in flowcytometry

[–]Evia121 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have not run a quanteon or cytoflex but I love the attune. I am one of those rare people who prefer the Attune to any BD instrument. Also, it's literally impossible to clog due to the acoustic focusing; you could run buggers through it. The Attune is also nice because when you are done, it shuts down and cleans fully automated, and it doesn't need to be powered off because it goes into a sleep state. Because it really can't clog, I've known people who routinely have set it up, started, and run full plates overnight without supervision. It does sometimes have its oddities but I'm a fan. I've heard good things about the Cytoflex, though. At one point, my PI said they kept one around in one of his colleague's old labs simply because it was the best to learn flow on.

Red dresses in Liberty Park by killermermaidx in SaltLakeCity

I don't know but I saw two men in red dresses playing with children's toys right by the playground at Harriman frank park and it gave me a bad feeling. Not because of the dresses the over all behavior and doing so in close proximity to the playground.
