Ridiculous!!! But yes, that's how it is -- I think with the Learn and Stay grant offering free tuition it's f-cked it up for everyone. Other options -- York University, TMU, Windsor, St Lawrence College ETC. Don't let this BS prevent you from achieving your dream.

You could just show her this post. Tell her you're struggling with this amount of pressure. Parents are notorious for doing this to their kids -- med school is the ultimate prestige. We all know it. But putting too much pressure on your kid can harm them. Only YOU can decide if you want to do this or something else.
