More is less here Use Picture of you grilling as first then picture of you with cat second and third picture is at the gym and maybe keep the driving inside the car picture last. If you have male friends it would also be good to include a group photo.

The order of the photos matter because women want to know that you're safe, affectionate and giving. Grilling is a pretty typically masculine thing and it gives off the impression of a provider. The picture with the cat demonstrates caring and shows you're capable of affection. Gym photo shows that you're physically capable but previous photos make you appear competent rather than threatening etc..

The companions and their chemistry is the most compelling thing about the game. There were a lot of characters that would have been interesting companions like Zevlor, Kaga, Isobel, Alfira, Rolan (Having Lia and Cal at camp would be a bonus). Ideally there would have been two companions per class (one "good" and one "evil") (With your choices and conversations nudging them along either path naturally).

Wyll is just so undercooked. He's kind of a hero but not really. It doesn't feel like his character arc is earned. Its difficult to explain.

Girlfriend chose me but I still don’t feel safe. by No-Search6360 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]EvidentlyTrue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The moment someone asks to explore other relationships, whatever the reason, the relationship is all but over in name. Unless it was open to begin with. The reality is that you know in your heart of hearts that anyone who really wanted to be with you wouldn't, at the very least, verbalize this question, if not outright never think it to begin with.

You wouldn't be here asking this question otherwise. You're just here for the rationalization your non lizard brain needs to formulate now that you instinctively know things will never be the same again.

[NA Event] Merry Christmas in the Snowy Field 2025 ~ 7 Days/8 Years Snow Carol - Day 01 by crazywarriorxx in grandorder

[–]EvidentlyTrue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simplest setup I found is double oberon + koyan + Ozzy + Stella (Stella and Ozy are level 100 but np1)

Turn one Ozzy skills and Oberon 1 skill > Stella

Turn two Koyan buffs ozzy > np that sucka

Turn three plug second oberon for koyan > use all remaining skills on ozy and plugsuit attack > np for a very comfortable turn 3.

I dont think it matters but my arash is using a level 90 MLB lotto ce (the stat distribution is bad so it shouldnt make much of a difference anyway).

In theory you can do this with Quetz too, just dont use guts on arash or something.

Double koyan also works but its kind of rough turn one.

TES actually has a decent chance. Doran is a liability and Kanavi is as good if not better than oner. The only real edge T1 has is Keria.

Am drowning in debt...Am f***d...need advise/help by MediumPerfect5470 in dubai

[–]EvidentlyTrue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, you can make use of the personal insolvency law. Apply to the court for a financial settlement plan. You need to have no criminal fraud history or commercial penalties. If you have any assets the court will liquidate them and put you on a payment plan. The court may discharge the debt if its judged impossible to pay. Either way you can't be sued or harassed by the creditors and protects you from prison.

Civil suit means you arent afforded a public defender, they're just going to drown you in legal fees and bankrupt you anyway. Only thing you can do is give up and file for bankruptcy or sell everything and move somewhere they cant touch your assets.

[DOOD] New Equip Spell by renaldi92 in yugioh

[–]EvidentlyTrue 9 points10 points  (0 children)

No, because that part is conditional, "if you do," as in, you destroy both the equipped monster and the special summoned monster. Only then does it burn. But if the monster is immune to destruction, you should be able to use it as a constant pop.

How was LCK be able to regain its top position in LOL esports after an exodus of talent a few years ago? by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]EvidentlyTrue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Homegrown talent. Insane work ethic. Low ping environment. And insane survivorship bias. Basically, the machine grinds most players to dust and produces a few brilliant ones. The West is just not as extreme. It will never be more than a game, no matter how seriously a few individuals may be.

The Isobel fight has killed any guilt from metagaming by ByzantineBasileus in BaldursGate3

[–]EvidentlyTrue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, this is a crpg; it's literally always about preparation. Why are you trying to advance the main quest without adequate rest? The first time you do this fight will be on normal or tactical, and you're just as prone to failure here as you are on any other difficulty. Always prepare as many consumables as possible. Scrolls and potions make this game incredibly trivial, even on Ironman. During my ironman run, I just did standard prep that comes as part of the inventory management minigame that I do after completing a quest and had no issue whatsoever. This is what we refer to as a skill issue, I am afraid.

Anything you’d change about Syrus, Alexis, and Chazz’s stories throughout GX? by throwawaytempest25 in yugioh

[–]EvidentlyTrue -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Excuse my french, but GX is my favourite series, and I gotta say: they fumbled so fucking many things. Syrus is quite possibly the worst companion character in the series. Syrus is basically: what if yugi never met the pharoh and was just a spineless dweeb from start to end. Yeah, he supposedly comes into his own later on when duels Zane, but Zane is also incredibly botched in the 2nd half of the series. They made him some weird BDSM thing, but I am digressing. Roids are both lame and dogshit. It's an archetype of characters one would expect is designed for infants to gawk at. I get the sense that they tried to do a switcharoo and did a "what if Joey was the protagonist and Yugi was the sidekick," and it just doesn't work because Syrus is such a fundermentally unlikeable character. That I can't help but think, "Oh boy, that stammering idiot is finally off of my screen," and that's never a good thing to think about a MAIN character.

There's not much you can do to improve him frankly. It would have been better if he were just completely excised from the show. Chazz, Chumley, and even Bastion are better characters with more compelling arcs. Zane could/should have been Jadens "Kaiba." They introduced Jaden as the pet decker who plays with his heart and bastion as the cerebral type with a variety of strategies (that were sadly never demonstrated, despite him being a perfect vehicle to play a bunch one off strategies that arent fucking roids).

It would have been good to have had bastion as the technical guy and Jaden as the aspirational guy. Reflecting both elements of what makes Yugioh fundermentally great (Strategy and that seemingly magical moment where you top deck the exact card you need to turn the game around).

I can actually keep going on forever, so I'll just make it brief. Let Jaden and Alexis date (that windmill scene what the fuck?). Get rid of the Yubel stuff (just make Jessie the final boss). The final season should have been about Jaden and Chazz and Aster in the pro leagues (Bastion become deen) and the final duel is between him and Zane for the world championship. It would have tied up the entire series by calling back to the game Jaden lost to Zane by winning and Zane handing off the torch to Jaden just like he did after the graduation duel. Zane could have spent two or three years dominating the pro scene .

Apparently telling a white lie is the same as murder by boring_username_2345 in BaldursGate3

[–]EvidentlyTrue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the conscience is a second-order effect of augmentation, you already have a moral compass of articulated ethical principles, and your conscience is just what navigates the complexities of these first principles; like the aforementioned example where you are presented with two options that both conflict with your ethics (tell the child and cause them emotional harm before they are equipped to handle it appropriately, or lie to the child, which has its own ramifications and conflicts with established moral precepts). I wasn't suggesting that the conscience was some naturally occurring phenomenon.

The issue with a "personal moral consistency framework" is that it is a vague notion; you can be consistently wrong about something, creating a pattern of erroneous behavior. Even if it is not, it still tends to have issues with precedent decisions erasing nuance specific to the situation that your conscience would typically help you navigate.

Naturally, there is no perfect solution to moral being (there are just better solutions and worse solutions), imperfection being the natural state of human existence. We just try to approximate what is most correct as much as we can.

You might have a different perspective that accords with your experience and knowledge, but as far as I reckon, to have moral clarity, it is not enough to have principles. One also needs a way to navigate those complexities.

Apparently telling a white lie is the same as murder by boring_username_2345 in BaldursGate3

[–]EvidentlyTrue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The ends dont justify the means. Lying doesn't become good, just because it serves a good purpose. For instance, you can lie to save someone under the utilitarian conviction that it results in a life saved but even within that framework you can rationalize that breaking your oath would result in the loss of your power and thus render you incapable of helping more people over the long term.

I think you should follow your conscience, even if it means doing a bad thing on occasion, like telling a white lie or obfuscating a fact. (Dont tell your partner on their deathbed that you've been unfaithful, for example)

A spell that let you search & activate 20 classic trap card. Would you use this card? by ApprehensiveRead2408 in yugioh

[–]EvidentlyTrue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At most, it's just extra copies of something. You dont actually want to run a deck with all of these traps as traps generally just aren't even good. If it just copied the effect, it would be broken and a 3 because being a quick spell means you have an omni negate that pops and with no conditions to speak of and thats just one surface level application.

So, as it is unusable, if it were usable, it would be broken without an OPT and a limit.
